Burrow and the Bengals’ offensive performance was lost in the shuffle of their Ohio divisional counterparts’ quarterback situation. A Charlie Jones kick return touchdown got things started, but the Bengals’ six first half possessions ended in five punts and a turnover on downs. Burrow was sacked three times on the day, but finally strung together a pair of scoring drives in the second half. He found Ja’Marr Chase for an 18-yard touchdown, then found Tee Higgins for a 25-yard touchdown later in the third quarter. Outside of that, it was a pedestrian day for Burrow, enough to clinch the victory. Burrow is a back-end fantasy QB1 against the Eagles for Week 8.

Pierce tied Michael Pittman for the team lead in looks, but it didn’t mean a whole lot with a returning Anthony Richardson completing just 10-of-24 throws. Pierce took the Colts down to the one-yard line in the first quarter only for the 28-yard grab to be nullified by offsetting penalties. He later committed a terrible drop. Today was unfortunately par for the course for Pierce in this volatile offense. He’s not a recommended WR5 for Week 8 against the Texans despite his down-field potential.

McLaurin showed a good rapport with with backup Marcus Mariota, who played on all but one of the Commanders’ offensive drives. On the final drive of the first half, McLaurin caught passes of 15 and 18 yards to help setup a Zach Ertz touchdown, and later hauled in a 25-yard pass on a scramble drill by Mariota. McLaurin’s Week 8 upside will be largely impacted by whether or not Jayden Daniels (ribs) can start against the Bears, but he should have solid WR2 upside regardless of who is under center.

Turner’s box score failings are hardly all his own, however, he has yet to prove himself as a NFL starter. He is off the re-draft radar against the Chiefs in Week 8.

That was the same statline Beckham posted in his Week 5 debut. Tua Tagovailoa’s absence is an asterisk, but not even the quarterback’s expected return for Week 8 against the Cardinals is going to make OBJ 12-team league relevant. Keep him on the waiver wire.

Ekeler played well behind Brian Robinson in Sunday’s blowout win over the Panthers. The veteran running back has served primarily as a third-down/change of pace back this season, and the Commanders didn’t find much use for his services in a game where the offense averaged 6.7 yards per play. Ekeler has only one top-24 fantasy finish on the season and shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than an RB3 in next week’s game against the Bears.

Tucker was the passing-game No. 2 weapon with Jakobi Meyers sidelined but did little in the role. He garners deep-league flex consideration next week against the Chiefs, though the bet there is that Tucker simply outruns a Chiefs defender en route to the end zone. He remains a shaky, touchdown-dependent player.

With De’Von Achane back and Raheem Mostert still chugging, Wright reverted to pure change-of-pace/breather work. He still provided the Dolphins’ longest rush of the day. Wright would be a more intriguing option in other backfields, but there are probably zero non-injury paths to him earning a top-two role in Miami. Even with Tua Tagovailoa expected back from his concussion in Week 8 against the Cardinals, Wright lacks 12-team league standalone value.

Bowers extends his double-digit target outings to three in this one, earning a 40.0 percent target share against the Rams. Bowers makes a strong case to be treated as the overall TE1 moving forward, though the Chiefs’ star-eraser, DC Steve Spagnuolo awaits Bowers in Week 8. He is a volatile TE1 for the occasion.

A clear 1B behind a returning De’Von Achane — the second-year pro easily won both the snap and touch battles — Mostert was not targeted in the passing game and lost what turned out to be a game-changing fumble. Bad, though the good news is Tua Tagovailoa’s (concussion) expected return for Week 8. That will keep Mostert relevant as a FLEX back who should see both touchdown and big-play opportunities against the Cardinals.

The most information we have on Daniels’ injury came from his mother, who posted on social media that he was “fine” shortly after he left the field. Things didn’t look too serious on the sideline, as Daniels appeared jovial and in good spirits with his teammates when he returned to the field, but these additional tests will be the real tell as to the severity of his injury. If Daniels is unable to go in Week 8 against the Bears, Marcus Mariota will make his first start of the season.
