Geno Smith completed 18-of-28 attempts for 207 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks’ Week 7 win against the Falcons, adding four rushes for 15 yards.
Geno, leading the NFL in pass attempts and pass yards, didn’t have to do much in this one. The Seahawks defense dominated in the second half, allowing Seattle’s offense to take the air out of the ball for the final quarter and a half. Geno hit DK Metcalf for a 35-yard score just before halftime and connected with Ken Walker for a short touchdown before the game got out of hand. An extended absence of Metcalf, who left the game with a knee injury, would be a downgrade for Smith’s fantasy prospects. He’ll take on the middling Buffalo secondary in Week 8.
