Ken Walker had 14 rushes for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks’ Week 7 win against the Falcons, adding two catches for 24 yards and a touchdown.
Walker continues his pass-catching tear, making the most of his two targets on the day. Coming into Week 7, Walker had averaged six targets per game. He was reasonably efficient on the ground and had a first quarter touchdown called back on a holding penalty. Walker’s rushing totals were dinged against the Falcons with the Seahawks — holding a big lead — resting their starters in the second half of the fourth quarter. Zach Charbonnet had eight rushing attempts on the day. Walker in Week 8 will face the Bills, one of the most generous rush defenses in the NFL.
  • SF Wide Receiver #11

Kyle Shanahan told reporters Brandon Aiyuk is feared to have torn his ACL.
Aiyuk will surely undergo an MRI to confirm or disconfirm the report. His lower leg brutally shifted inward after Aiyuk was hit laterally by a Chiefs defender. He totaled 25 receptions and 374 yards on 44 targets this season.
  • SF Tight End #85
George Kittle caught 6-of-7 targets for 92 yards in the 49ers’ Week 7 loss against the Chiefs.
  • CAR Running Back #30
Chuba Hubbard ran 17 times for 52 yards and one touchdown in the Panthers’ Week 7 loss to the Commanders.
Hubbard was bottled up all day by the Commanders. He averaged just 3.1 YPC on the ground and failed to draw a target for just the second time this season. He bailed out his fantasy managers with a four-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, but it was a mostly forgettable outing for the fourth-year back. Hubbard shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than a low-end RB2 in Week 8 against the Broncos.
  • KC Running Back #29
Kareem Hunt had 22 rushes for 78 yards and two touchdowns in the Chiefs’ Week 7 win against the 49ers, adding two catches for five yards.
Hunt keeps on keeping on as the centerpiece of the new-look, run-first Kansas City offense. He had 22 of the Chiefs’ 30 running back rushes and found the end zone twice inside the ten yard line against a quietly exploitable Niners run defense. With 52 touches over his past two games as the Chiefs’ lead back, Hunt should be considered a RB1 option for Week 8 against the Raiders.
  • CAR Wide Receiver #5
Diontae Johnson caught 1-of-3 targets for 17 yards in the Panthers’ Week 7 loss to the Commanders.
Johnson’s first reception came on the Panthers’ first offensive drive, which ended in a pick six by Andy Dalton. It was the worst fantasy outing of the season for Johnson with Dalton under center, but things aren’t likely to get any better in Week 8. The Panthers face a Broncos defense that’s allowing just 15.1 points per game and that has held their opponents under 200 passing yards in five of their seven games. Johnson will be hard to trust as anything more than a WR3 in what profiles as a tough outing on paper.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #83
Tyler Boyd caught 5-of-5 targets for 43 yards in the Titans’ Week 7 loss to the Bills.
The Titans made the switch to Mason Rudolph this afternoon and Boyd easily posted new season highs for both catches and yards. Cool, until you remember it was 5/43. Even with DeAndre Hopkins and Calvin Ridley going nowhere ahead of him, Boyd seems miles from WR4 relevance even if Rudolph ends up keeping the starting job.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #10
Sean McVay expects Cooper Kupp to play in the Rams’ Thursday Night Football game against the Vikings in Week 8.
The report comes from the Rams’ ESPN beat reporter Sarah Barshop. Kupp practiced in a limited capacity all week but the team played this conservatively and kept him inactive against the Raiders. Fantasy managers should expect him to handle a high-volume, WR1-worthy role right out of the gate.
  • TEN Tight End #85
Chig Okonkwo caught 4-of-4 passes for 50 yards in the Titans’ Week 7 loss to the Bills.
With Mason Rudolph replacing Will Levis, Okonkwo posted new season highs for both catches and yards. In theory that’s good news until you remember those season highs were 4/50. That’s not going to be a likely weekly outcome behind Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins. Regardless of who is under center in Week 8 against the Lions, Okonkwo will struggle for TE2 relevance.
  • LV Running Back #3
Zamir White rushed three times for 13 yards and caught 1-of-1 targets for 14 yards in the Raiders’ Week 7 loss to the Rams.
White ironically produced a season-best 4.3 yards per carry average, though the small sample size probably boosted him in this regard. The north-south rusher cannot be trusted against the Chiefs in Week 8.
  • KC Quarterback #15
Patrick Mahomes completed 16-of-27 attempts for 154 yards and two interceptions in the Chiefs’ 28-18 Week 7 win against the 49ers, adding five rushes for 39 yards and a touchdown.
The Chiefs were once again run heavy, logging 38 rushing attempts with Kareem Hunt leading the way. Kansas City lost another pass catcher, JuJu Smith-Schuster, who aggravated a lingering hamstring issue. Mahomes powered his way into the end zone for a short rushing score in the fourth quarter to avoid a another catastrophic fantasy outing. The offensive injuries plaguing the Chiefs and the team’s stellar defense likely mean Mahomes won’t be asked to do much this season. He has one touchdown pass over his past three games. Mahomes should be considered a superflex-only option in Week 8 against Raiders.
