Saquon Barkley ran 17 times for 177 yards and one touchdown in the Eagles’ Week 7 win over the Giants.
Barkely took his former team to task all afternoon. He averaged an impressive 10.4 YPC in his return to the Meadowlands, thanks in part to runs of 55, 38, and 41 yards. He saw two opportunities for a one-yard touchdown get vultured by Jalen Hurts, but did punch in a three-yard touchdown in the first quarter. Barkley also caught two passes for 11 yards, but as has been the case for much of the season, it was his effort in the ground game that proved to be the difference maker in the win. Barkley will be a high-end RB1 in Week 8 when he and the Eagles visit the Bengals.

Dalton Kincaid caught 3-of-6 targets for 52 yards in the Bills’ Week 7 win over the Titans.
If that looks like a mediocre statline, the sad truth is that Kincaid’s 52 yards receiving were actually a new season high. They came with Amari Cooper making his Bills debut and Josh Allen having his first 300-yard day of the season. Perhaps it is ushering in more of a pass-happy approach with more room for everyone to operate with Cooper operating as a more traditional WR1, though you can never make too much of a one-game sample size. Kincaid was six feet away from a score in the third quarter, but he couldn’t quite get the ball in the end zone. Kincaid will have some upside for Buffalo’s Week 8 Seahawks road trip. The points, in theory, should be flowing. Seattle’s awful run defense complicates matters, though.

Calvin Ridley caught 3-of-9 targets for 42 yards in the Titans’ Week 7 loss to the Bills.
Ridley’s squeaky wheel narrative produced a season-high nine targets with the Titans quarterback switching from Will Levis to Mason Rudolph, though the production and efficiency remained nonexistent. The scary part is that Ridley’s 42 yards were actually his third most of 2024. This is a broken offense, whether it’s Rudolph or Will Levis starting. The Lions and comeback game script await for Week 8 in Detroit. Ridley will be a zero-floor WR4 for that one, though at least with some theoretical ceiling if Rudolph actually gets in rhythm in the dome.
  • LV Tight End #84
Harrison Bryant exited Week 7 against the Rams with an apparent arm injury.
Bryant’s elbow could be implicated. As he walked off the field under his own power, Bryant was using one hand to support his other hand while a training staff member stabilized his upper arm. He is headed to the locker room.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #10
DeAndre Hopkins was limited to one catch and -2 receiving yards in the Titans’ Week 7 loss to the Bills.
Hopkins actually caught a six-yard pass but ended up with negative production because of a weird second quarter lateral play. Anyways ... so much for that, with “that” being the Titans’ switch to Mason Rudolph under center. Rudolph was scarcely better than Will Levis, though a bigger concern for Hopkins was Pro Football Focus’ Nathan Jahnke charting something of a Nuk rotation with Nick Westrbook-Ikhine. NWI caught Rudolph’s only score. The extenuating circumstances are bleak, but the bottom line is that Hopkins isn’t producing. He’ll be tough to rank inside the top 50 for Week 8 against the Lions. The Titans do project to have to pass in that one.
  • CLE Tight End #88
Jordan Akins caught 4-of-4 targets for 42 yards in the Browns’ Week 7 loss to the Bengals.
Akins was involved in a 52-pass day for the Browns. He is the clear No. 2 tight end to David Njoku, but would receive many of the underneath routes should Njoku miss time. The Browns offense is undergoing a shake-up with Amari Cooper gone and Deshaun Watson (Achilles) likely out for the season, but Akins can be left off the fantasy radar for now.
  • SF Wide Receiver #11
Brandon Aiyuk (knee) was ruled out of the 49ers’ Week 7 game against the Chiefs.
Aiyuk took a frightening hit to his left knee on a reception just before halftime. He hobbled to the blue medical tent before being carted to the locker room. It would be something of a surprise if Aiyuk, who has 23 catches for 351 scoreless yards on the season, doesn’t miss significant time. His absence would make Jauan Jennings an interesting fantasy option when he returns from his hip injury.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #8
Elijah Moore caught 6-of-7 targets for 41 yards in the Browns’ Week 7 loss to the Bengals.
Moore saw an uptick in usage with the Browns attempting 52 passes on the day. He saw some underneath targets out of the slot, totaling 41 yards on seven targets. The Browns will be shuffling their quarterback rotation, with either Dorian Thompson-Robinson or Jameis Winston starting moving forward after Deshaun Watson’s Achilles injury. Fantasy managers should hold off on adding Moore until the pass-catching with a new starting quarterback can shake out.
  • BUF Running Back #22
Ray Davis rushed five times for 41 yards and a touchdown in the Bills’ Week 7 win over the Titans, adding a six-yard reception.
Davis managed to out-rush James Cook, though a returning Cook remained comfortably ahead in the carries and snaps department. Davis’ score was deep into garbage time, where the Bills were admittedly seeming like they wanted to run up the score. It would be inaccurate to say Davis’ overall production was a product of garbage time, however, as he was highly involved in the third quarter. Davis isn’t quite to a “1B” role, but his backup involvement seems to be growing ahead of Week 8 vs. the Seahawks’ horrendous run defense.
  • BUF Running Back #4
James Cook rushed 12 times for 32 yards and a touchdown in the Bills’ Week 7 win over the Titans.
Active after missing Week 6, Cook was held without a target for the first time all season. His touchdown was an 11-yarder in the second quarter where he shed several arm tackles. Beyond that it was a quiet day as Josh Allen revved up the passing attack for his first 300-yard effort of 2024. Cook also got out-rushed by rookie Ray Davis, though the rookie was in a strict backup role. He scored during garbage time. Davis is going to remain involved, but Cook maintains an upside RB2 profile in an offense that’s hopefully on the upswing following Amari Cooper’s arrival. The Bills face Seattle’s shaky run defense in Week 8.
  • CLE Tight End #85
David Njoku caught 10-of-14 targets for 76 yards and a touchdown in the Browns’ Week 7 loss to the Bengals.
With Amari Cooper traded away, Njoku became the alpha target earner across the three quarterbacks that played for the Browns. He was the checkdown and shallow-yardage option often, while catching an eight-yard jump ball from Jameis Winston late in the game for a touchdown. Njoku constitutes a PPR scam at the tight end position, making him TE1 option against the Ravens for Week 8.
