Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz reports Amari Cooper is expected to play in Week 7 against the Titans.
On Wednesday, head coach Sean McDermott said that no decision had been made on Cooper’s Week 7 availability, but it doesn’t come as a surprise that the team would expect him to play. Even if it’s in a limited capacity, Cooper should provide an immediate upgrade to the Bills’ wide receiver room while he gets acclimated to the offense. Fantasy managers should temper expectations for Cooper in his Bills debut, but he’s still solid option in most leagues as a fringe WR2/WR3. He currently sits as the WR25 in RotoPat’s Week 7 rankings.
  • CAR Tight End #82

Tommy Tremble (back/concussion) was listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Commanders.
Tremble was a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday but did not practice on Friday. Tremble said on Thursday that he had one more hurdle to clear before getting out of concussion protocol. The fact he wasn’t able to practice on Friday likely puts him on the wrong side of playing in Week 7. If Tremble is unable to play, rookie J’Tavion Sanders should be in line for a start and could make for a viable TE2 after catching five passes for 49 yards last week.
  • NE Running Back #38
Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) told reporters, “I should be ready to play on Sunday.”
Stevenson returned to practice on Friday after missing the previous two sessions. He did not suit up in Week 6 because of the injury but appears likely to come back this week. The Patriots will presumably list him as questionable for their final injury report. Fantasy managers counting on Stevenson will need to set their alarms on Sunday as the Patriots take on the Jags in London, a game that kicks off a few hours before the rest of Sunday’s contests. If active, Stevenson will return to t he RB2 ranks.
  • CAR Running Back #24
Jonathon Brooks (knee) won’t play in Week 7 against the Commanders.
This was to be expected. Brooks returned to practice earlier this week, and The Athletic’s Joe Person wrote on Tuesday that he believes a Week 9 return is “a realistic target” for the rookie running back. Brooks took the field in a limited capacity for two of the team’s three practices this week, but should continue to ramp things up in the coming days.
  • CAR Tackle #72
Panthers ruled out OT Taylor Moton (triceps) for Week 7 against the Commanders.
Moton Will now miss a second-straight game with his triceps injury, paving the way for Yosh Nijman to start in Week 7 if he can go. Nijman is also listed as questionable with a knee injury, as the Panthers are currently dealing with multiple injuries along the o-line.
  • CAR Linebacker #7
Panthers listed Jadeveon Clowney (shoulder) as doubtful for Week 7 against the Commanders.
Clowney was a DNP on Wednesday and Thursday but logged a limited session on Friday. The veteran pass rusher hasn’t played since Week 5 and will likely miss his second-straight game with the injury. In addition to Clowney, the Panthers also listed safety Sam Franklin Jr. and defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy as doubtful.
  • CAR Wide Receiver #5
Diontae Johnson (ribs/hamstring/ankle) is questionable for Week 7 against the Commanders.
Johnson has some of everything going on, which explains his two DNPs to open the week. The veteran receiver was able to get in a limited practice on Friday, but it sounds like his Week 7 availability could come down to a game-time decision. If he’s able to go on Sunday against the Commanders, Johnson would have high-end WR2 upside. If he can’t go, Xavier Legette and Jonathan Mingo would see a slight boost in their fantasy stocks this week.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Mike Evans (hamstring) did not practice on Friday but is expected to play in Week 7 against the Ravens.
This report comes from Buccaneers beat writer Rick Stroud, who said Evans “won’t practice much this week but expected to play vs. Ravens Monday night.” Evans was a DNP on Thursday as well, but it sounds like this is something the team will try to manage to keep him ready come game time. It wouldn’t be surprising if the Buccaneers kept practice light for Evans in the coming weeks until he is fully recovered from this injury.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #1
Giants HC Brian Daboll said he expects Malik Nabers (groin) to be a full participant in Friday’s practice.
According to Daboll, Nabers is dealing with some tightness in his groin. It appears to be a minor concern for the star receiver, who cleared concussion protocol on Thursday and should be ready to play in Week 7 against the Eagles. We’ll get a better sense of his availability once the team releases its final injury report, but Nabers appears to be trending in the right direction, all things considered.
  • NYG Running Back #29
Giants HC Brian Daboll said Tyrone Tracy will “get plenty of playing time” in Week 7 against the Eagles.
This news comes on the heels of Daboll also announcing that Devin Singletary would return in Week 7. With the team planning to monitor Singletary’s injury in his return, things could be shaping up for Tracy to lead the Giants backfield vs. the Eagles. Tracy has racked up 237 yards on 42 touches over the last two weeks and should still see plenty of volume to be a viable fantasy option in Week 7. With that said, he’s best viewed as a fringe RB2/RB3 given the tough matchup and the risk Singletary poses in his return.
  • NYG Running Back #26
Giants HC Brian Daboll said Devin Singletary (groin) will play in Week 7 against the Eagles.
Daboll said the Giants plan to monitor Singletary, who is returning from a groin injury after a two-game absence. They may opt to give him a light workload in his first game back, especially with Tyrone Tracy rumored to “get plenty of playing time” as well. Tracy has totaled 237 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown over the last two games while averaging a solid 5.6 YPC. From a fantasy perspective, both backs will be hard to trust in Week 7, but Singeltary’s usage remains a complete mystery given his injury and Tracy playing well.
