  • WAS Running Back #8

    Brian Robinson (knee) practiced Wednesday.
Even if it’s a limited practice, it’s good news for Robinson’s Week 7 availability against the Panthers. He missed last week’s loss to the Ravens while recovering from the lingering knee issue. Carolina, one of the league’s most generous rush defenses, would represent a fantastic matchup for Robinson, who has benefited from Washington’s run heaviness in the red zone this season.
  • NE Wide Receiver #84
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Kendrick Bourne (knee) practiced in full on Wednesday.
Bourne was limited in practice throughout Week 6 so this is a big step toward leaving the injury report entirely. The savvy veteran could be flex-viable down the road, though he is likely more of a floor-play than one with a week-winning ceiling.
  • DEN Defensive Back #2
Broncos CB Patrick Surtain (concussion) will not play in Week 7 against the Saints.
Surtain sustained the concussion early in Denver’s Week 6 loss to the Chargers and did not return. The turnaround to Thursday Night Football was always going to be too quick for him to clear the league’s protocol. He will eye a Week 8 return versus the Panthers.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #10
Rams coach Sean McVay said Cooper Kupp (ankle) is “trending in the right direction.”
McVay was non-committal on Kupp’s availability for Week 7. Kupp did individual work on Wednesday but was held out of team drills, meaning he should be listed as a DNP on LA’s injury report. Kupp has been out since Week 2 and has struggled through injuries over the past three years. As desperate as the Rams are to get him back, they are going to be understandably cautious with his return. If he can’t suit up for Week 7, Jordan Whittington, Demarcus Robinson, and Tutu Atwell will be the Rams’ starting trio of receivers.
  • NE Quarterback #10
Drake Maye (knee) practiced in full on Wednesday.
Fantasy managers should fully expect Maye to play, given his full Wednesday participation. His appearance on the injury report is noteworthy, yet likely precautionary. Maye is QB1-viable against the Jaguars, albeit a potentially volatile QB1.
  • NE Running Back #38
Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) did not practice Wednesday.
The Patriots badly need Stevenson back in the lineup but a premature return could be costly. Antonio Gibson started in Stevenson’s stead last week, averaging just 1.5 yards per carry on 13 attempts. Thursday’s injury report will tell us far more about Stevenson’s availability than Wednesday’s.
  • JAX Running Back #1
Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Just two days after Doug Pederson told reporters that Etienne’s hamstring injury is considered a week-to-week issue, Etienne practices in a limited capacity. This is a bizarre development but fantasy managers may actually have Etienne available for Week 7.
  • SEA Safety #2
Seahawks placed S Rayshawn Jenkins on injured reserve.
Jenkins was playing through a hand issue including using a club, but the injury appears to have worsened. He will not miss at least four games while on injured reserve. Jenkins has played on every defensive snap for Seattle this year and has a scoop-and-score touchdown to his name. Safety Ty Okada was signed from the practice squad to the active roster in a corresponding move.
  • JAX Tight End #17
Evan Engram (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
This is likely just workload management for the veteran tight end. Engram caught 10 passes in his first game back from his multi-week hamstring injury and should be good to go as a high-end TE1 again this week against the Patriots.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #0
Gabe Davis (knee) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Davis was limited by the issue in all three Week 6 practices before finishing as the overall WR7 in PPR scoring. Fantasy managers should fully expect Davis to suit up in Week 7 although the Patriots’ cornerback corps is no pushover unit. Davis remains a volatile flex option.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #19
Bills coach Sean McDermott said no decision has been made on Amari Cooper playing in Week 7 against the Titans.
The Bills traded for Cooper on Tuesday and he spent the evening driving from Cleveland to Buffalo. He did not partake in the Bills’ Wednesday walkthrough but is expected to be on the field tomorrow. It’s a short turnaround for Cooper to learn the offense, so the Bills could give him one week off before throwing him into the lineup. Khalil Shakir would serve as the team’s top receiver for another week if Cooper is kept on the sidelines.
