  • PHI Tight End #88
Dallas Goedert (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for the remainder of Week 6 against the Browns.
Both Goedert’s quick initial “questionable” tag and his halftime rule out bode poorly for his Week 7 status against the Giants, as does his history of lower-body woes. His status should be updated no later than Monday afternoon’s press conferences.
  • IND Wide Receiver #1
Josh Downs caught 7-of-9 targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Colts’ Week 6 win over the Titans.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #4
Zay Flowers caught 9-of-9 targets for 132 yards in the Ravens’ Week 6 win over the Commanders.
Flowers did not see a target in the second half of Sunday’s win over the Commanders but did enough damage in the first half to help the Ravens to a 17-10 lead at halftime. The second-year found space to operate nearly every time Lamar Jackson looked his way and nearly found the end zone in the first-half if not for a DPI near the goal-line. Flowers has now gone for 100-plus yards in back-to-back games and is well on his way to smashing is rookie year total. He’ll be a high-end WR2 in Week 7 against the Buccaneers.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #13
Christian Kirk caught 3-of-6 targets for 39 yards in the Jaguars’ Week 6 loss to the Bears.
Evan Engram returned to the lineup this week after a four-game absence because of a hamstring injury. He immediately became Trevor Lawrence’s favorite target on short and intermediate looks, seeing 10 targets to Kirk’s six. Kirk entered Week 6 on a streak of three games over 60 yards. He amassed 19 receptions during that stretch. He wasn’t making big plays or scoring often, but Kirk was serving as a safety valve for Lawrence, making him a viable PPR WR2. Without a heavy dose of targets to fall back on, Kirk will tumble into the WR3 ranks for his Week 7 matchup with the Patriots.
  • LAC Tight End #88
Hayden Hurst exited Week 6 against the Broncos.
Hurst’s injury is currently unknown but he was seen walking to the locker room under his own power. Hurst is not really on the re-draft radar but we will update his status as soon as possible.
  • ARI Running Back #6
James Conner had seven rushes for 24 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 6 loss to the Packers, adding four catches for 22 yards.
Conner was stymied by a Green Bay defense that did not have to respect the Cardinals’ low-octane passing attack, especially with Marvin Harrison Jr. sidelined with a concussion. Though the game was getting away from the Cardinals, it’s worth noting that rookie RB Trey Benson had five rushes for 26 yards on the day. That included an impressive 20-yard scamper in the fourth quarter. Kyler Murray’s love of the check down could keep Conner afloat for fantasy purposes if Benson eats into his rushing workload.
  • HOU Running Back #31
Dameon Pierce rushed eight times for 76 yards and a touchdown in Houston’s Week 6 win over the Patriots.
Pierce had a 54-yard touchdown scamper that effectively ended the competitive portion of this game, it looked like his ankle might have landed out of bounds on his last step, but officials ruled there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn the touchdown. His other carries, obviously, were less effective. Pierce definitely appears to be the main backup in Houston behind Joe Mixon at this point, and he looked healthy in his return from his long-term hamstring injury.
  • PHI Quarterback #1
Jalen Hurts completed 16-of-25 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ 20-16, Week 6 win over the Browns, adding 14 carries for 33 yards.
Taking advantage of the returns of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, Hurts had his first multi-score passing effort since the Eagles’ opener in Brazil. That, of course, was also the last time Brown took the field. Smith missed Week 4 before the Eagles’ bye. He found Brown for a 22-yard touchdown and game-clinching 40-yard heave in tight coverage. He found Smith for a 45-yard score on a crossing route where Smith did most of the work after the catch. It was what we needed to see from Hurts through the air in a tough matchup, though he remained non-explosive on the ground. He has averaged more than 3.1 yards per carry just one time all season. The Giants could go either way as a Week 7 matchup.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
Ladd McConkey (head) returned to play Week 6 against the Broncos.
McConkey is back in after passing his concussion screening. With Quentin Johnston (leg) and Pat Surtain (head) still out, McConkey has a chance to make his presence felt.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #1
Stefon Diggs caught 6-of-7 targets for 77 yards and a touchdown in Houston’s Week 6 win over the Patriots.
After a fumble gave the Texans a short field to start the second half, Diggs ran a post over the middle for a score that gave the Texans a 21-7 lead. Diggs had another end zone target where he and Christian Gonzalez battled on a deep sideline route and the officials called it a draw as the ball fell harmlessly. It was a game the Texans never trailed in, but Diggs didn’t exactly run up huge target increases without Nico Collins. He’s probably more of a fantasy WR2 than a WR1 heading into Houston’s Week 7 game against the Packers.
  • IND Quarterback #15
Joe Flacco completed 22-of-38 passes for 189 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the Colts’ 20-17, Week 6 win over the Titans.
A last-minute starter — at least publicly — Flacco came back down to earth after his rowdy Week 5, but he still easily out-dueled Will Levis. Flacco was dealing with injuries all over his receiver corps, but Josh Downs (toe) and Michael Pittman (back) both contributed several big catches. Flacco also had a long Alec Pierce DPI that doesn’t show up in the box score. Although Flacco’s typical performance will undoubtedly be somewhere between this one and last week’s more prolific effort, he probably still gives the Colts a better chance to win than Anthony Richardson right now. The question, of course, is what the Colts want to prioritize. Flacco isn’t their future, to put it mildly. Our best guess is that Richardson will be cleared to return from his oblique issue in Week 7 against the Dolphins.
