  • GB Wide Receiver #9
Christian Watson (ankle) is active for Week 6 against the Cardinals.
Watson is back after suffering an ankle injury a couple weeks ago. It’s hard to say whether he’ll see a full complement of snaps and routes against the Cardinals, though he could see a deep target or two from Jordan Love. Dontayvian Wicks could continue to play ahead of Watson for now. Packers declared S Kitan Oladapo, DL Brenton Cox Jr., T Andre Dillard, T Travis Glover, TE John FitzPatrick, and DL Devonte Wyatt inactive against the Cardinals.
  • NE Tight End #85
Hunter Henry caught 3-of-5 targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in New England’s Week 6 loss to the Texans.
He acted as a blocker on New England’s lone goal-to-go play before leaking out uncovered for the touchdown catch. Henry was mostly a touchdown-or-bust streamer with Jacoby Brissett under center, but perhaps there’s a little more upside for the Patriots passing attack with Drake Maye. Henry’s matchup against the Jaguars makes him a potential streamer next week for TE-needy teams.
  • TB Quarterback #6
Baker Mayfield completed 24-of-36 passes for 325 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions in the Bucs’ 51-27, Week 6 win over the Saints, adding three carries for 29 yards.
It was a truly wild game for Mayfield and the Bucs. He marched the offense down the field and found Chris Godwin for a short touchdown on the first drive. Tampa’s defense scooped up a fumble for a touchdown on their first opening drive and then Mayfield got three more points on the board to give them a 17-0 lead. Following a punt return touchdown from the Saints, Mayfield melted down with three interceptions on his following four drives. The Saints out-scored the Bucs by 20 in the second quarter and appeared to be on the verge of an upset at halftime. Mayfield settled down in the second half and calmly picked apart the Saints’ defense over the final two quarters, quashing any hopes of a divisional win for New Orleans. It wasn’t the prettiest game for Baker, but it’s one that talking heads will rightfully deem as “gutsy.” Mayfield will look to clean things up in a potential shootout with the Ravens in Week 7.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #1
Quentin Johnston (ankle) returned for Week 6 against the Broncos.
Johnston is sporting a visible limp while playing through the issue. He could find room to run with Pat Surtain (concussion) now out but Johnston does not appear guaranteed to finish the contest.
  • HOU Tight End #86
Dalton Schultz caught 4-of-8 targets for 27 yards in Houston’s Week 6 win over the Patriots.
He was second on the team in targets in Nico Collins’ absence, but he couldn’t reel in a ball in the red zone for a touchdown and instead it popped up and turned into a pick. Schultz dropped another sideline ball that could have turned into a first down later in the game. It was a game of missed opportunities, but eight targets is as good as gold in This TE Economy, and Schultz is a playable TE1 against the Packers in Week 7.
  • NE Wide Receiver #1
Ja’Lynn Polk caught 1-of-4 targets for four yards in New England’s Week 6 loss to Houston.
He dropped one ball thrown right at his hands as he was standing still with the nearest defender yards away from him. He finally caught a pass on the last play of the game. Polk is getting playing time, and the Patriots probably should let him try to grow with Drake Maye, but he’s caught just five of his last 17 targets and isn’t on the fantasy radar right now.
  • GB Quarterback #10
Jordan Love completed 22-of-32 attempts for 258 yards and four touchdowns in the Packers’ Week 6 win against the Cardinals, adding five rushes for 13 yards.
Love did whatever he wanted against an injury-ravaged Arizona defense. Frequently changing the play at the line of scrimmage, Love put his pass catchers into positive situations time and again. That included Romeo Doubs, who had two touchdown grabs from Love in single coverage. Love also connected with Jayden Reed and Christian Watson for touchdowns. Love has displayed a mastery of the Packers offense that he may not have had near the end of the 2023 season. It’s led to consistently efficient production that should continue in a potentially high-scoring affair next week against Houston.
  • BAL Tight End #89
Mark Andrews caught 3-of-4 passes for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens’ Week 6 win over the Commanders.
Andrews’ first catch didn’t come until late in the second quarter, but it was a 13-yard score to please his fantasy managers and end his scoreless drought. Andrews would haul in two more passes for 53 yards on a drive that set up a Derrick Henry touchdown. It’s hard to know what Andrews’ day could have looked like if not for those two drives — literally, but he’s now caught seven passes for 121 yards and a touchdown in his last two games. It’s too early to say he’s back, so we’ll call Andrews a boom-or-bust option in Week 7 against the Buccaneers.
  • NE Wide Receiver #9
Kayshon Boutte caught 3-of-3 targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in New England’s Week 6 loss to the Texans.
With Tyqaun Thornton inactive, Boutte played a large majority of the snaps and connected on a deep ball with Drake Maye to get the Patriots on the board as time expired in the first half. Boutte gave Derek Stingley a little shove to generate the space, but it was a great route and catch. Boutte probably isn’t on the main fantasy line just yet — we need to see some more targets — but his role is growing and he’s worth keeping on the waiver wire speed dial.
  • GB Running Back #8
Josh Jacobs had 18 rushes for 62 yards in the Packers’ Week 6 win against the Cardinals, adding three catches for 28 yards.
Jacobs was his usual plodding self, giving the Packers offense three yards and a cloud of dust — or a splash of mud in this rainy affair — whether they needed three yards or ten. One of the NFL’s least efficient backs, Jacobs is locked in for around 20 weekly touches in a high-scoring Green Bay offense. So things could be worse for the veteran back. Emanuel Wilson mixed in for nine touches on the day. Jacobs will be a top-24 option in Week 7 against the Texans.
  • NE Wide Receiver #3
DeMario Douglas caught 6-of-9 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown in New England’s Week 6 loss to the Texans.
Everybody’s fantasy ceiling perks up a little for New England with Drake Maye on the case, and Douglas managed a garbage-time score in the fourth quarter where he easily sped away from safety Eric Murray in trail coverage and found his way into the end zone. Douglas has led the Patriots in targets each of the last two weeks and seems poised to be a playable WR3/FLEX against the Jaguars next week.
