  • SF Running Back #24
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports 49ers RB Jordan Mason (shoulder) is believed to have suffered a sprained AC joint in Thursday’s Week 6 win over the Seahawks.
Per Schefter, Mason’s injury “is not considered serious,” but he will undergo further testing today to confirm the severity of everything. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game that Mason would have been available to play in an emergency situation in last night’s win, so it’s possible he’ll be good to go for Week 7 against the Chiefs. With more than a week to heal up, we’ll see where Mason’s status stands when the team releases its first injury report next week.
  • JAX Running Back #1
Travis Etienne (shoulder) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 6 against the Bears.
Etienne got banged up in Week 5 versus the Colts. He played through the injury but was clearly limited and ceded 13 carries to backup Tank Bigsby. Etienne rushed just six times. He should be back on top of the backfield in Week 6, but Bigsby has out-played him too often to go away, whether or not Etienne is healthy. Part of a dreaded backfield-by-committee, Etienne is a touchdown-based RB2 versus Chicago.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #0
Gabe Davis is questionable for Week 6 against the Bears.
Davis was limited in practice throughout the week and looks likely to play through the questionable tag. He has topped 43 yards in one game this year and has yet to catch a touchdown. His season-high in receptions is three. Healthy or not, fantasy managers can avoid Davis in a tough matchup with the Bears.
  • JAX Tight End #17
Evan Engram (hamstring) is questionable for Week 6 against the Bears.
Engram was limited in practice throughout the week. He is still working his way back from the hamstring injury he suffered in pre-game warmups before Week 2. Doug Pederson said earlier in the week that the chances of Engram returning on Sunday were “pretty good.” That puts him on the right side of questionable, though he does appear to be a true game-time call. Brenton Strange would get the start if he is ruled out ahead of kickoff. Strange has 12 grabs for 120 yards and a score over the past four weeks.
  • ATL Linebacker #44
Falcons ruled out LB Troy Andersen (knee) for Week 6 against the Panthers.
Andersen missed Week 5’s game against the Buccaneers because of the same knee injury and will now target Week 7 as his return date. The third-year linebacker has totaled 44 tackles and one TFL on the season and also returned an interception — the first of his career — for a 47-yard score in Week 4 against the Saints.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #89
Eagles WR Johnny Wilson (concussion) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 6 against the Browns.
Wilson dealt with a hamstring injury earlier this season and then suffered a concussion ahead of Philly’s Week 5 bye. He cleared the concussion protocol on Friday and is good to go. With A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith healthy, Wilson will be an afterthought in the Eagles’ offense.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
DeVonta Smith (concussion) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 6 against the Browns.
Smith cleared concussion protocol on Friday after practicing in full throughout the week. Both he and A.J. Brown are good to go for Week 6. Smith returns to face a banged-up Cleveland defense that hasn’t lived up to the hype from their legendary 2023 campaign. Smith is back in the WR2 ranks versus the Browns.
  • ATL Running Back #7
Bijan Robinson (hamstring) practiced in full on Friday and has been cleared to play in Week 6 against the Panthers.
Robinson popped up on Thursday’s injury report with a hamstring injury, but whatever is ailing him doesn’t appear to be that serious. The Falcons’ RB1 has officially been cleared to play in Week 6 against the Panthers, who allowed 128 rushing yards to the Bears in Week 5. Robinson will be in the mix as a low-end RB1 for the week.
  • CLE Defensive Back #21
Browns CB Denzel Ward (hamstring) is questionable for Week 6 against the Eagles.
Ward is one of three starting defensive backs for the Browns who are injured this week. Both of Cleveland’s starting safeties have been ruled out while Ward still has a shot at playing on Sunday. Ward currently leads the NFL in pass breakups at nine. Losing him would be devastating for a Cleveland defense that can’t afford to be without any more starters.
  • CLE Safety #9
Browns S Grant Delpit (concussion) will not play in Week 6 against the Eagles.
Delpit suffered the concussion in Week 5 and did not practice this week before being ruled out. Fellow starting safety Ronnie Hickman Jr. (ankle) was also ruled out. Cleveland’s depleted secondary will be an easy target for a returning duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith this week.
  • CLE Tackle #78
Browns OT Jack Conklin (hamstring) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 6 against the Eagles.
Conklin missed the first few games of the season while working his way back from the torn ACL he suffered last year. Conklin tweaked his hamstring just as he was ready to retake the field. Week 6 will be his 2024 debut. He is expected to start at right tackle this week.
