  • CAR Tight End #82
Panthers TE Tommy Tremble (concussion) is questionable to return in Week 5 against the Bears.
Tremble took a shot in the second quarter on a short reception, fumbled the ball, and stayed on the field for a while. He eventually left the field under his own power but was taken to the locker room by trainers. J’Tavion Sanders will see ann uptick in routes with Tremble possibly done for the day.
  • NE Running Back #38
Patriots ruled out Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) for Week 6 against the Texans.
  • SF Running Back #23
49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said the team will not open Christian McCaffrey’s (Achilles) practice window next week.
McCaffrey is currently on injured reserve. Once the team opens his practice window, they have 21 days to officially activate him from injured reserve or he will remain there for the remainder of the season. Not opening his window this week suggests he could be more than three weeks from returning. The 49ers get their bye in Week 9, so a Week 10 return is still on the table, though the news surrounding McCaffrey’s return has consistently broken against him since he started dealing with the Achilles injuries before Week 1.
  • TB Tackle #67
Bucs RT Luke Goedeke (concussion) is expected to play in Week 6 against the Saints.
Center Graham Barton (hamstring) has been ruled out. Goedeke has been out for a few weeks with a concussion. Head coach Todd Bowles said he will play, “barring any setbacks.” Overall, the Bucs are getting healthy ahead of their divisional matchup with the Saints.
  • TB Wide Receiver #15
Bucs head coach Todd Bowles said WR Jalen McMillan (hamstring) will be able to play in Week 6 against the Saints.
McMillan missed two games after suffering the hamstring injury in practice before Week 4. He will reclaim his WR3 role for the Bucs this week with wide receivers Trey Palmer and Kameron Johnson already ruled out. Firmly behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin in the pecking order for targets, McMillan is not on the fantasy radar.
  • TB Running Back #1
Bucs head coach Todd Bowles said Rachaad White (foot) will be a game-time decision for Week 6 against the Saints.
White was limited in Wednesday’s practice before being surprisingly downgraded on Thursday. He will be listed as questionable when the Bucs release their final injury report of the week. White had already been ceding work to rookie Bucky Irving before suffering the foot injury. Even if he suits up, it’s safe to assume Iriving’s role as the change-of-pace back isn’t going anywhere. Iriving would vault to the top of the RB2 ranks if White is ruled out before kickoff.
  • TB Defensive Tackle #94
Bucs DT Calijah Kancey (calf) is expected to play in Week 6 against the Saints.
Safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (foot) will be a game-time call but is trending toward playing. Kancey has yet to play this year after suffering a hamstring injury before Week 1. The 2023 first-round pick totaled four sacks and 10 TFLs as a rookie.
  • GB Tight End #85
Matt LaFleur told reporters Tucker Kraft “should be good to go” for Week 6 against the Cardinals.
Kraft has astonishingly finished as the overall PPR TE1 in consecutive weeks and now faces a Cardinals defense that ranks 20th in yards allowed per coverage snap (7.54) to opposing tight ends. Kraft is a TE1 once again, for Week 6.
  • TB Wide Receiver #10
Bucs WR Trey Palmer (concussion) will not play in Week 6 against the Saints.
Backup wide receiver Kameron Johnson was also ruled out. Jalen McMillan has a chance to play through his hamstring injury. If he can’t go, Sterling Shepard will remain the Bucs’ WR3 for Week 6.
  • DEN Wide Receiver #11
Josh Reynolds (finger) is expected to miss at least one week after undergoing finger surgery.
NBC Houston’s Aaron Wilson reports Reynolds “underwent minor finger surgery and, after a successful procedure, is expected to miss at least one game and likely a few more as he works to return potentially later this month.” Reynolds’ absence could result in more playing time for the Broncos’ explosive backups, like Marvin Mims Jr. and Troy Franklin, but nothing is guaranteed.
  • NYG Running Back #26
Devin Singletary (groin) is questionable for Week 6 against the Bengals.
Singletary was reportedly limited in all three Giants practices this week. His continued practice participation suggests he is healthy enough to play but it seems likely Brain Daboll restricts Singletary to a moderate snap count, or at least allow a hot-hand situation to play out. Explosive rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. averaged 7.2 yards per carry last week, the fifth-best among NFL running backs with at least 10 carries in Week 5.
