Commanders HC Dan Quinn said Brian Robinson (knee) is “trending in the right direction” to play in Week 5 against the Browns.
Robinson was spotted at Friday’s practice after being a DNP on Wednesday and Thursday. Quinn called Robinson a game-time decision ahead of Sunday’s Week 5 game against the Browns, making his status one to monitor when inactives are announced 90 minutes before kick-off. If Robinson can’t go, we can expected Austin Ekeler to handle the majority of the Commanders’ backfield touches with Jeremy McNichols working in on occasional downs similar to how we saw in Week 4 against the Cardinals.
