  • JAX Tight End #17
Evan Engram (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Engram went down with the hamstring injury during pre-game warmups ahead in Week 2. This is his first time practicing since he suffered the injury. A limited session to open the week is a good sign for Engram’s availability, but he isn’t out of the woods yet. If he makes it to Sunday without any setbacks, Engram will rank as a volume-based TE1 for his matchup with the Colts.
  • DEN Running Back #28
Broncos RB Tyler Badie (back) did not practice Wednesday.
Badie rushed for a career-high 70 yards just two weeks ago but suffered the frightening back injury in Week 4. The fact that the Broncos have not placed Badie on injured reserve appears to be a positive sign for his overall health, football aside. Fantasy managers should expect Badie to remain sidelined until the team announces otherwise.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Mike Evans (knee/calf) has been removed from the Buccaneers’ injury report and will play in Week 5 against the Falcons.
Evans was listed as limited in Tuesday and Wednesday’s practices but doesn’t carry an injury status ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Falcons. Evans is coming off his best outing of the season, in which he caught 8-of-14 targets for 94 yards and a touchdown. He should be treated as a WR2 in tomorrow’s matchup.
  • HOU Tackle #78
Texans LT Laremy Tunsil (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
Tunsil left the Texans’ Week 4 game versus the Jags in the second quarter. He was listed as questionable to return but was back on the field later in the game. His status will be worth monitoring throughout the week as the Texans prepare to take on the Bills.
  • LAR Cornerback #24
Rams designated CB Darious Williams (hamstring) to return from injured reserve.
Williams was placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 1. He had been dealing with a hamstring issue since the start of camp. Defensive lineman Larrell Murchison also returned to practice. The Rams currently rank 31st in EPA per dropback allowed. Any reinforcements on the defensive side of the ball will be welcomed by Sean McVay and company.
  • KC Running Back #25
Chiefs designated Clyde Edwards-Helaire (personal) to return from reserve/NFI list.
Edwards-Helaire is eligible to return for the Chiefs’ Week 5 game against the Saints. He enters a crowded, yet starless backfield and can be speculatively added to fantasy benches. Kareem Hunt likely beat out both Carson Steele and Samaje Perine for the lead role last week and it remains unclear as to how Edwards-Helaire will fit into the rotation, though his experience in the system is a positive.
  • CIN Defensive Back #21
Bengals CB Mike Hilton (knee) did not practice Wednesday.
The Bengals’ primary slot corner suffered a knee injury in Week 4 versus the Panthers but played through it. That suggests he could suit up this week despite a limited practice regimen. Hilton has 12 combined tackles this year. Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins remained sideline for Wednesday’s practice.
  • PIT Running Back #84
Steelers RB Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
Patterson went down with an ankle injury in the Steelers’ Week 4 loss to the Colts and did not return. With Jaylen Warren inactive, Aaron Shampklin made his NFL debut as the Steelers’ RB3. Both Patterson and Warren did not practice on Wednesday and look unlikely to suit up for Week 5. Shampklin could see a few touches versus the Cowboys, but the injuries will ultimately funnel a massive workload to Najee Harris.
  • TB Wide Receiver #10
Buccaneers ruled out Trey Palmer (concussion) for Week 5 against the Falcons
The Buccaneers are without their Nos. 3 (Jalen McMillan) and 4 (Palmer) WRs this week, condensing the passing tree to star wide receivers, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. T Luke Goedeke (concussion) was also ruled out this week.
  • PIT Running Back #30
Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (knee) did not practice Wednesday.
Warren seemingly tweaked his knee in Week 3 and was pulled from that game. He did not practice last week and was ruled out on Friday. He doesn’t look likely to suit up this week either. Fantasy managers can cut ties with Warren until he gets back to full strength, which may not happen for a while.
  • TB EDGE #94
Buccaneers ruled out EDGE Calijah Kancey (calf) for Week 5 against the Falcons.
The talented inside-outside pass rusher will miss another game after failing to practice all week. The Buccaneers will hope to get him back for their Week 6 divisional showdown against the Saints.
