  • DAL EDGE #11
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Cowboys EDGE Micah Parsons suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Cowboys’ Week 4 win over the Giants.
Per Rapoport, “His status is to be determined.” The good news is that the Cowboys get 10 days off after beating the Giants on Thursday Night Football. They face the Steelers in Week 5. Parsons is no stranger to playing through injuries and the extra rest may be enough to get him back on the field without any time missed. The superstar defender has had a quiet start to the season with just one sack through four games, but his presence on the defensive line is often enough to spring other players open for potential sacks. Losing him, even for a short period of time, would be a big blow to the Dallas defense.
  • MIA Running Back #31
Raheem Mostert (chest) was limited in Friday’s practice.
Mostert returned to practice last week but was listed as doubtful on the final injury report. Unsurprisingly, he didn’t suit up on Sunday. It looks like he has a real chance at making his return this week. The Dolphins playing on Monday Night Football, giving Mostert an extra day to recover, helps as well. With Tua Tagovialoa out, Mostert’s role as the goal line back won’t mean much versus Tennessee. If healthy, Mostert will rank as an RB3.
  • SF Tackle #71
Trent Williams (toe) is questionable to play in the 49ers’ Week 4 game against the Patriots.
ESPN’s Nick Wagoner reports “Williams’ toe became sore yesterday and was bothering him again today.” The 36-year-old Williams regularly plays through injury but he appears to be truly questionable after being unable to practice Friday. His absence would be a big loss for the 49ers.
  • MIA Quarterback #19
Dolphins QB Skylar Thompson (ribs) was limited in Friday’s practice.
That’s two limited sessions for Thompson, who left in the third quarter of the Dolphins’ Week 3 loss to Seattle. We will get a cleared picture of his health when the Dolphins release their final injury report on Friday. Even if Thompson gets cleared in time for Miami’s MNF matchup with the Titans, we fully expect Tyler Huntley or Tim Boyle to be named the starter.
  • TB Running Back #7
Bucs RB Bucky Irving (hamstring) is questionable for Week 4 against the Eagles.
Irving was added to the injury report on Wednesday as a limited participant. He did not practice on Thursday but told reporters he expects to play. Irving returned to practice on Friday before being listed as questionable. Even if the rookie suits up this week, he will be a risky play for fantasy managers. He ranks as an RB4 versus the Eagles.
  • SF Wide Receiver #1
Deebo Samuel Sr. (calf) is questionable to play in the 49ers’ Week 4 game against the Patriots.
Samuel returned to practice on Thursday, participating in a limited capacity. His Friday designation has yet to be released but a Full Participant designation would all but guarantee he suits up. Samuel is a back-end WR1, if active.
  • TB Wide Receiver #15
Bucs WR Jalen McMillan (hamstring) is doubtful for Week 4 against the Eagles.
McMillan suffered the hamstring injury in practice on Friday and isn’t expected to play this week. Trey Palmer will take his place in the lineup. McMillan was running plenty of routes but hadn’t earned many targets yet. Palmer figures to play the same low-value role this week.
  • SF Tight End #85
George Kittle (hamstring) will play in the 49ers’ Week 4 game against the Patriots.
Kittle has been trending toward playing since participating in a limited capacity on Wednesday. The 30-year-old tight end remains an efficient player, averaging 1.87 yards per route run. He is a TE1 in Week 4.
  • TB Defensive Lineman #50
Bucs DT Vita Vea (knee) is questionable for Week 4 against the Eagles.
Vea had a shot at suiting up last week, but the Bucs ultimately held him out on Sunday. He was limited in all three practices this week and looks to be on the right side of the questionable tag heading into the weekend. Defensive tackle Calijah Kancey and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. both remain out for Week 4.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Chris Godwin (neck) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 4 against the Eagles.
Godwin was limited in practice throughout the week but is good to go for Sunday. With a team-high 21 receptions for 253 yards and three scores, he enters Week 4 as the clear No. 1 receiver for the Bucs. That will keep him at the top of the fantasy WR2 rankings versus a middling Philly defense.
  • SF Quarterback #13
Brock Purdy (back) was removed from the injury report and will play in the 49ers’ Week 4 game against the Patriots.
Purdy was never likely to miss this game, practicing in full since Wednesday. He remains a borderline QB1/2, boosted by his pass-catching corps’ improving health.
