Gardner Minshew completed 18-of-28 passes for 214 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Raiders’ 36-22, Week 3 loss to the Panthers, adding 14 yards on three carries.
Minshew and the rest of the Las Vegas offense reverted to how they looked in Week 1 after feigning competence a week ago, managing just three points until the first possession of the fourth quarter. Minshew would throw an interception on the subsequent possession and retreat to the bench for the team’s final possession, paving the way for Aidan O’Connell to close out the loss. Minshew locked onto Davante Adams in this one, but the two seemed to on different pages throughout the game, highlighted by his lone interception in the fourth quarter when a communication issue led to the pick. Raiders fans are likely clamoring for a quarterback change as the team prepares to host the 1-2 Browns in Week 4.
