  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Tyreek Hill caught 3-of-5 targets for 40 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 3 loss to the Seahawks.
Hill led Miami with his five targets on a day that saw the offense held to less than 200 passing yards. Skylar Thompson, before leaving the game in the third quarter with a chest injury, was abysmal in Mike McDaniel’s user-friendly offense. Journeyman backup QB Tim Boyle was much better and could make Hill a more viable fantasy option if he’s named the Dolphins’ Week 4 starter. Without Tua Tagovailoa (concussion), no one in Miami’s offense will be a reliable fantasy option.
  • SF Quarterback #13
Brock Purdy completed 22-of-30 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 10 times for 41 yards in the 49ers’ 27-24, Week 3 loss to the Rams.
The 49ers’ heartbreak-loss clouds an otherwise excellent day from Purdy. His 11.2-yard aDOT is the third-deepest single-game average of his career and his 86.7 percent adjusted completion rate was his fourth-best. This is also the first time Purdy has ever reached 10 rushing attempts in one game. The underrated dual-threat is a low-end QB1 against the Bears in Week 4.
  • LAR Tight End #86
Colby Parkinson caught 3-of-5 targets for 21 yards in the Rams’ Week 3 win over the 49ers.
Parkinson technically finished with at team-high six targets though one was ultimately negated. The usage is encouraging but Parkinson remains a frustrating, touchdown-dependent option. He is a TE2 against the Bears in Week 4.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #17
Jaylen Waddle caught 4-of-5 targets for 26 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 3 loss against the Seahawks.
Waddle was invisible in this one through no fault of his own. The Miami passing offense was nonexistent with Skyler Thompson at the helm. Tim Boyle, who came in for Thompson when he left the game with a chest injury, would be un upgrade for Waddle and the rest of the Dolphins pass catchers in their Week 4 matchup against the Titans.
  • MIA Tight End #9
Jonnu Smith caught 2-of-3 targets for 18 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 3 loss against the Seahawks.
Smith followed up his six-catch Week 2 performance with a stinker, which might come as little surprised with Skylar Thompson under center for Miami. Smith ran a pass route on just 48 percent of the team’s drop backs against the Seahawks — a drop in usage from last week against the Bills. He remains a borderline deep-league option.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #9
KaVontae Turpin caught 3-of-3 targets for 51 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys’ Week 3 loss to the Ravens.
Turpin’s touchdown came on a 16-yard reception late in the fourth quarter as the Cowboys were mounting a comeback. The Cowboys’ return specialist continues to pop up in the offense as needed but doesn’t have a strong enough role to be considered fantasy-relevant. His 51 receiving yards in Sunday’s loss set a new career high, but fantasy managers shouldn’t count on him in Week 4 against the Giants.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #18
Tyler Johnson caught 3-of-4 targets for 20 yards in the Rams’ Week 3 win over the 49ers.
Johnson failed to capitalize with Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Puka Nacua (injured reserve) sidelined. His 1.65 yards per route run average through three games accurately reflects his replacement-level play. He is not a recommended start against the Bears in Week 4.
  • BAL Tight End #80
Isaiah Likely caught one pass for four yards in the Ravens’ Week 3 win over the Cowboys.
Likely is already on the shortlist of disappointing waiver wire claims for the 2024 season. While there’s still plenty of time for a bounceback, the third-year tight end has caught three passes for 30 yards over the last two weeks after breaking out for 9-111-1 in the season-opener against the Chiefs. Mark Andrews hasn’t produced a big game this season, but as long as he’s healthy and active, Likely will be difficult to trust on a week-to-week basis. Fantasy managers are better off leaving him on the bench in Week 4 against the Bills.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #11
Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught 3-of-3 targets for 39 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 3 win against the Dolphins.
Smith-Njigba was invisible outside an 18-yard catch and run in the second half. The Seahawks offense eased up after taking a lead against the Tua-less Dolphins in the first quarter and operated a massively run heavy offense in the second half. JSN in Week 3 was well behind DK Metcalf (8) and Tyler Lockett (6) in targets. He could be in for a bounce back in Week 4 against the Lions in a game that has shootout potential.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #88
Jordan Whittington caught 3-of-3 targets for 28 yards in the Rams’ Week 3 win over the 49ers.
Whittington seemingly earned Sean McVay’s trust as the game progressed, playing 7-of-29 offensive snaps (24.1 percent) in the first half and 16-of-30 snaps (53.3 percent) in the second half. He notably handled 7-of-27 wide receiver snaps (25.9 percent) in 12 personnel and lined up in the slot on 10-of-23 total snaps (43.5 percent). Whittington is a smart bench stash heading into Week 4 against the Bears.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #7
Rashod Bateman caught 3-of-4 targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens’ Week 3 win over the Cowboys.
Bateman hauled in a 15-yard touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson before halftime for what would be the Ravens’ only receiving touchdown on the day. Other than that, it was a forgettable day for Bateman, who will take an 8-121-1 line into Week 4’s matchup against the Bills.
