Jaylen Warren rushed two times for 7 yards in the Steelers’ Week 1 win over the Falcons, adding two receptions for 13 yards.
Warren was the clear backup, competing with Cordarrelle Patterson for reps. Coming off a hamstring injury, it’s possible Warren was limited more than usual, but Week 2 will tell more of the story. Najee Harris is the clear lead back for now, while Warren’s four touches have room for growth in future weeks. Warren is a valuable backfield backup with standalone FLEX value as he works back from the hamstring issue.
