    49ers released WR Robbie Chosen.
Chosen wasn’t expected to be long for the 49ers’ roster after signing with the team a few weeks into camp. The injury to Ricky Pearsall played a role in the team signing Chosen, while Pearsall’s return likely led to his release. Chosen caught four passes for 126 yards and a touchdown last season and could end up on the 49ers’ practice squad if another suitor doesn’t come calling.

Harrison Bryant caught 2-of-2 targets for 22 yards in the Raiders’ Week 9 loss to the Bengals.
Bryant caught a pair of passes in the Raiders’ loss to the Bengals. He has been the backup to Brock Bowers with Michael Mayer out since September, but Bryant left the game with an apparent ankle injury. The Raiders listed him as questionable to return, but he would not as the team heads into a Week 10 bye.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Tyreek Hill caught 4-of-5 targets for 80 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 9 loss to the Bills.
The 80 yards were Hill’s most since Week 1, while he now has 152 yards in two games since Tua Tagovailoa’s return. That’s the good news, though the bad is Tua still isn’t really looking down the field. Hill’s — and the Dolphins’ — long gain was a 28-yard reception where he had to come back to the football. Hill is running circles around Jaylen Waddle’s box scores, but this current version of Tagovailoa seems content to check down to De’Von Achane more than anything else. Still, if Hill can remain in even the 7-8 target range, he’s going to bust loose for plenty of WR1 outings. The Rams are on tap for Week 10.
  • DEN Wide Receiver #16
Troy Franklin caught 1-of-4 targets for 19 yards in the Broncos’ Week 9 loss to the Ravens.
Franklin’s 19 yards were somehow the third-most for the Broncos this week. Franklin’s day could have been far better but Bo Nix overthrew him on what would have been a 33-yard score at the top of the second quarter. Franklin has now been held to one catch in back-to-back weeks after going for a season-high 50 receiving yards in Week 7. Franklin is off the fantasy radar until he finds a more consistent role.
  • LV Wide Receiver #11
Tre Tucker caught 2-of-6 targets for five yards in the Raiders’ Week 9 loss to the Bengals.
Tucker is the Raiders’ field-stretching options seeing a few deep shots. Gardner Minshew could not connect deep with Tucker before eventually being benched and Tucker only caught a pair of short-yardage passes throughout the game. With the Raiders’ quarterback position in flux, Tucker is in the WR5 mix moving forward.
  • LV Tight End #89
Brock Bowers caught 5-of-8 targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders’ Week 9 loss to the Bengals.
Bowers was mainly quiet throughout the game, with just 23 receiving yards until the fourth quarter. He eventually scored on a 22-yard pass from Desmond Ridder in garbage time, appeasing fantasy managers with his box score. Outside of the box score, he drew a key defensive pass interference to prolong a scoring drive in the first quarter. The Raiders will have low opportunity amidst a struggling offense and struggling quarterbacks. However, Bowers is a top-two pass-catching option on the team and his rookie record-setting pace makes him a high-end TE1 moving forward.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #17
Jaylen Waddle caught 2-of-2 targets for -4 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins’ Week 9 loss to the Bills.
As you can see, there’s a lot going on here. Waddle got hit with -23 receiving yards on the Dolphins’ ill-fated final lateral play. This wonky box score does not even include Waddle getting spiked by Damar Hamlin in the fourth quarter and briefly appearing as if he might have suffered a broken leg on a leg whip. He also had zero targets through three quarters. The real takeaway, of course, is that Waddle is continuing to not produce even following Tua Tagovailoa’s Week 8 return. He has not cleared 50 yards since Week 1. With the Dolphins’ offense not hitting big plays the way it once did, Waddle is beginning to look like a middling WR3 as even Tyreek Hill struggles for targets and big box scores. The Rams are on tap for Week 10.
  • LV Wide Receiver #16
Jakobi Meyers caught 8-of-11 targets for 105 yards in the Raiders’ Week 9 loss to the Bengals.
Meyers was the Raiders’ top receiver, leading the team in targets, receptions, and yards. He has been consistently targeted on various crossing routes, screens, and downfield throws. Though the Raiders’ quarterback situation is tumultuous, Meyers remains a mainstay of the receiving corps. With five straight games of at least seven targets, Meyers is a fantasy WR2 moving forward.
  • LAC Running Back #30
Kimani Vidal had five rushes for seven yards in the Chargers’ Week 9 win against the Browns.
Vidal continues to operate as the clear No. 2 back behind JK Dobbins, who had 15 rushing attempts for 85 yards and two touchdowns against Cleveland. Vidal would figure to slide in as the Chargers’ RB1 should the oft-injured Dobbins miss time in the second half of the season.
  • DEN Wide Receiver #14
Courtland Sutton caught 7-of-10 targets for 122 yards in the Broncos’ Week 9 loss to the Ravens and completed his lone pass attempt for a two-yard touchdown.
Sutton put up another strong receiving line this week, but his most memorable play was the aforementioned pass attempt. Denver ran a “Philly Special” trick play at the goal line. Sutton came across the formation, caught a pitch, and tossed a floater to Bo Nix who muscled his way into the end zone. Sutton wasn’t targeted in Week 7 but has since rebounded with 21 looks over his past two games. He hit the century mark in both contests. With Nix leaning on him more in recent weeks, Sutton has a secure spot in the WR3 ranks for his Week 10 matchup with Kansas City.
  • ARI Defensive End #91
Cardinals DE L.J. Collier exited Week 9 against the Bears with a leg injury.
Collier was seen speedily hopping off of the field on one leg, valiantly doing his part to keep Jonathan Gannon from having to use a timeout. Collier immediately began working with the training staff as soon as he got to the sideline. The team has not yet released an official status but it is safe to assume he is questionable to return.
