RB Blake Watson rushed 9 times for 26 yards and one touchdown and caught his lone target for 33 yards in the Broncos preseason game against the Colts.
Watson did not enter the game until the fourth quarter, likely ending his late-round fantasy viability but his pass-catching juice remains undeniable. Watson should be safely stashed on dynasty taxi squads.
  • DAL Quarterback #16
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Cowboys declared QB Will Grier, LB Damone Clark, DE Earnest Brown, T Chuma Edoga, TE Princeton Fant, DE Tyrus Wheat, DT Justin Rogers inactive for Week 18 against the Commanders.
It is a low-impact inactives list for the Cowboys in Week 18. Dallas has been eliminated from playoff contention and will look to impact the Commanders’ playoff seeding with a win this week. Grier will serve as the emergency third quarterback, having just been signed to the active roster this past week.
  • CHI Running Back #20
Bears declared RB Travis Homer, OG Teven Jenkins, S Elijah Hicks, LB Noah Sewell, DT Zacch Pickens and DB Ameer Speed inactive for Week 18 against the Packers.
26-year-old Homer went from competing for Bears’ passing-down work to missing the final three games of the season with a hamstring issue. Not the best way for a special teamer to head back to free agency, especially since Chicago is once again experiencing turnover with its brain trust.
  • NYG Quarterback #12
Giants declared RB Dante Miller, CB Greg Stroman, CB Dee Williams, LB Micah McFadden, C John Michael Schmitz, OT Evan Neal, and QB Tim Boyle inactive for Week 18 against the Eagles.
The Giants are at “full strength” entering their season-finale against the Eagles and will face a plethora of Philly’s backups. Rookie Malik Nabers is sitting on 104 receptions for the season and is hoping to finish the year with the rookie receptions record that is currently held by Raiders tight end Brock Bowers (108), who will play later in the day. Outside of that, there is little for this team to play for in Week 18.
  • TEN Running Back #20
Titans RB Tony Pollard (ankle) is active for Tennessee’s Week 18 game against the Texans.
He looks likely to get a big workload with Tyjae Spears (concussion) out and has touchdown and yardage-based incentives that could lead the Titans to feed him the ball. Inactive for the Titans are S Amani Hooker, Spears, K Nick Folk, WR Jha’Quan Jackson, OLB Arden Key, RT Jaelyn Duncan, and WR Tyler Boyd. All of those players asides from Jackson was ruled out by injury on Friday.
  • CAR Cornerback #8
Panthers declared CB Jaycee Horn, WR Deven Thompkins, QB Jack Plummer, WR Velus Jones Jr., S Lonnie Johnson, LB Josey Jewell, and G Robert Hunt inactive for Week 18 against the Falcons.
Horn, battling a lingering hip injury, will miss yet another game to finish out the 2024 season. He’ll finish the season with one interception and 13 passes defended in a Carolina secondary that ranked among the league’s worst throughout the year. Hunt being out is a major blow for the Panthers, facing an improving Atlanta pass rush.
  • JAX Defensive End #41
Jaguars declared DE Josh Hines-Allen, CB Ronald Darby, LB Ventrell Miller, LT Walker Little, DT Esezi Otomewo, and DT Tyler Lacy inactive for Week 18 against the Colts.
Hines-Allen didn’t make the trip to Indy for personal reasons and will miss a mostly meaningless Week 18 affair with the Colts. Both teams are out of the playoff hunt after the Colts’ Week 17 loss. Hines-Allen’s season comes to a close with eight sacks and 10 TFLs.
  • PHI Quarterback #16
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports Tanner McKee will start for the Eagles in Week 18 against the Giants.
McKee will make his first career start after throwing for 54 yards and two touchdowns on just four passes last week. Kenny Pickett (ribs) who entered the weekend as questionable is active and will serve as McKee’s backup.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #13
Commanders declared WR K.J. Osborn, QB Jeff Driskel, S Quan Martin, CB Marshon Lattimore, LB Jordan Magee, C Tyler Biadasz, and T Cornelius Lucas inactive for Week 18 against the Cowboys.
Osborn was added to the injury report Friday with an illness and is officially out against the Cowboys. He was merely a depth piece and his absence should not impact the Commanders’ receiving corps much. Lattimore was declared out due to a hamstring issue on Friday. Martin (illness), Biadasz (ankle), Lucas (groin), and Magee (hamstring) are all also out due to injury.
  • NO Running Back #41
Saints declared QB Derek Carr, RB Alvin Kamara, RB Kendre Miller, WR Mason Tipton, LB Willie Gay, LB Pete Werner and DT Khristian Boyd inactive for Week 18 against the Buccaneers.
Kamara came into the season finale with a doubtful tag, so there was always very little chance of him playing. He finishes the season with 950 yards on the ground with six touchdowns, and he added another 543 yards receiving with two scores through that route. Kamara agreed to a two-year extension in October, and likely will be the lead back for New Orleans again in 2025.
  • GB Wide Receiver #9
Christian Watson (knee) is active for Week 18 against the Bears.
The Packers probably aren’t going to push matters with Watson with the Wild Card Round only a week away, but the fact that he’s active is a strong sign he’s close to full health. Green Bay would not be risking anything unnecessary on Sunday against the Bears.
