  • TEN Safety #33
Titans signed S Jamal Adams, formerly of the Seahawks, to a one-year, $1.292 million contract.
Adams, 28, was released by the Seahawks at the end of the 2023 season. The former First-team All-Pro played in 34 of a possible 67 regular season games during his four-year tenure with the team and has played in just 10 games over the last two seasons. A myriad of injuries have plagued Adams in recent years, with a quad tear ending his 2022 season in Week 1, and a concussion and knee strain limiting him to nine games in 2023. Adams earned a PFF coverage grade of 50.7 while playing on 287 coverage snaps. The former do-it-all safety, who once racked up 9.5 sacks in a season, hasn’t recorded a sack since 2020 and is far from the player he once was. Despite this, he should have plenty to offer a Titans secondary that’s undergone a major overhaul this offseason.
  • CHI Wide Receiver #83
WR Nsimba Webster caught 3-of-4 targets for 68 yards in the Bears’ preseason game against the Chiefs.
The journeyman receiver’s preseason finale may secure him a roster spot, though he will not be re-draft-relevant.
  • CHI Wide Receiver #10
WR Tyler Scott caught 6-of-8 targets for 99 yards and rushed one time for 17 yards in the Bears’ preseason game against the Chiefs.
Scott also returned a kickoff for 24 yards, making a compelling case for one of the Bears’ backup wide receiver and special teams roles. He can be added as a dynasty bench stash, albeit by employing tempered expectations.
  • KC Wide Receiver #17
WR Mecole Hardman caught 1-of-4 targets for six yards in the Chiefs’ preseason game against the Bears.
Hardman remaining active for the preseason finale bodes negatively for his chances of meaningfully contributing in the regular season but he’s done it before. He added a 43-yard kickoff return. Hardman is likely just a contrarian DFS option this year.
  • KC Wide Receiver #19
WR Kadarius Toney caught 2-of-3 targets for 26 yards in the Chiefs’ preseason game against the Bears.
Toney led Chiefs wide receivers with 2.00 yards per route run but his deployment while the starters rested is likely a net negative. Toney added a 16-yard punt return to the box score. He is not a recommended dart throw at this time.
  • KC Running Back #42
RB Carson Steele rushed four times for 51 yards and one touchdown in the Chiefs’ preseason game against the Bears.
Steele added five missed tackles forced to his preseason tally. He concludes the preseason with nine total and averaged 8.0 yards per rushing attempt and 7.5 yards after contact per rushing attempt. He has a shot to make the active roster after signing with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent. Steele also returned one kickoff for 29 yards against the Bears.
  • KC Running Back #34
RB Deneric Prince rushed three times for minus-one yard and caught 1-of-1 targets for three yards in the Chiefs’ preseason game against the Bears.
Prince’s position as the No. 3 running back appears safe, given his usage but his overall preseason performance leaves some to be desired, averaging 4.4 yards per rushing attempt and forcing just one missed tackles on 14 attempts.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #15
WR Charlie Jones caught 1-of-1 targets for three yards in the Bengals’ preseason game against the Colts.
Jones was largely quiet in his slot receiver role but dazzled on special teams, returning one kickoff for 48 yards and two punt returns for 12 yards. Jones rounds out the Bengals’ talented skill position group but is unlikely to be re-draft-relevant unless he competes for the starting slot role.
  • CIN Tight End #83
TE Erick All Jr. caught 1-of-1 targets for 10 yards in the Bengals’ preseason game against the Colts.
All is stuck in the Bengals’ No. 3 tight end role for the time being. He will need to flash, both as a receiver and blocker for the coaching staff to deploy him in two-tight end sets.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #81
WR Jermaine Burton caught 4-of-5 targets for 56 yards and one touchdown in the Bengals’ preseason game against the Colts.
Burton made the strongest case for the Bengals’ No. 5 wide receiver role but is not a recommended re-draft dart throw at this time. He is best targeted in dynasty formats as a potential buy-low.
  • IND Running Back #31
RB Tyler Goodson rushed 13 times for 57 yards and caught 2-of-3 targets for 10 yards in the Colts’ preseason game against the Bengals.
Goodson entered the game ahead of RB Evan Hull, who rushed nine times for 30 yards and caught 1-of-1 targets for minus-three yards. Goodson may have a leg up on Hull for the No. 3 role behind injured No. 2 RB Trey Sermon (hamstring).
