Jones (6'5/305) was originally a three-star OT from the 2018 class and checks in at a seasoned 24 years old, having spent six years in college. A four-year starter at both tackle spots spanning 48 total starts, the Cypress, Texas achieved all-conference honors twice. Jones’ inexperience with the sport prior to college has been addressed with his physical maturity and his extended stay in Austin. Though he is a bit of a waist-bender, his thick build and strong anchor makes up for any imbalance issues caused by his stance. Jones has some of the best feet in the class, where he is rarely out of control and is ready to exert his strength at any given point. Combine his educated feet with 34.5” long arms and 5.04s 40-yard dash speed (91st%) and the pieces of the puzzle start to add up. He has a good chance to make Arizona’s roster this summer.

Lattimore hasn’t practiced this week and has only been with the team for a few days. The targeted return date for the veteran corner will be Week 11 against the Eagles in the first of two divisional matchups between the NFC East rivals.

Evans was never really in line to play in this one. After going down in Week 8 with a hamstring injury, it was reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport that Evans could “potentially be back after the bye.” The Buccaneers’ bye is in Week 11, meaning Week 12 is the earliest we should expect to see Evans.

Whoops. Asked about Hurts’ absence from Wednesday’s practice for “rest” purposes, Sirianni revealed Hurts is dealing with an ankle issue, even going so far as to say it was “on the injury report.” He was then “corrected” by an Eagles PR person that Hurts’ absence was “rest” related. This isn’t the first time we’ve had the Eagles misled us on Hurts’ health, but it’s also true there is zero doubt as to his Week 10 availability against the Cowboys. We suppose his effectiveness could be another matter. The Eagles will be getting a call from the league.

Collins has not practiced this week, but may get on the field in some capacity on Friday with this latest designation. With Stefon Diggs lost for the season, the Texans are desperate to have Collins back in the fold of hopes of bolstering a passing game that has struggled as of late. We’d still consider Collins a long-shot to play in Week 10 against the Lions, but the team should give us more on that before the end of the day.

Prater has been on injured reserve since October 15th. He’s not eligible to return until Week 12, meaning there’s still plenty of time for him to recover from his injury before the team can even consider activating him. Prater’s replacement, Chad Ryland, has converted on 10-of-11 field goal attempts this season and has two field goals of 50-plus yards to his name. His emergence could put the Cardinals in a tough decision once Prater is healthy enough to be activated.

With the signing of Carlson comes the release of veteran Riley Patterson, who kicked for the Jets in their Week 9 win over the Texans. Carlson, who has kicked in two games for the 49ers this season, has gone 5-for-5 on his fields goals and 3-for-4 on his extra points, with three of his field goals coming from 40-plus yards out. The Jets are still hoping to have Greg Zuerlein (knee) back at some point in the season, but it looks like it will be Carlson kicking in Week 10 against the Cardinals.

Things haven’t been great for Thielen as of late. He was limited in the team’s first two practices heading into Week 9 but was a DNP on Friday and ultimately ruled out. Thielen has not practiced ahead of the Panthers’ Week 10 game against the Giants and only has a few days left for the team to activate him from IR before ruling him out for the season. We’ll see where things go in the coming days, but things aren’t looking good for the 34-year-old vet. In addition to Thielen, the Panthers also ruled out OT Ikem Ekwonu (ankle).

The Bills’ head coach said on Wednesday that Coleman could be looking at a multi-week absence due to his injury. Speaking Friday, however, McDermott did add that he doesn’t believe Coleman’s injury will require a stint on injured reserve. Coleman did not practice this week, only adding to the likelihood that he would miss at least one game. The question now becomes whether or not he will suit up for Week 11 in a rivalry matchup at home against the Chiefs.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported something similar on Thursday, so this doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Lawrence is dealing with a banged-up, non-throwing shoulder and is reportedly even considering surgery to correct the issue. His absence in Week 10 would put Mac Jones in position to make his first start as a Jaguar after he won the QB2 battle over C.J. Beathard in the preseason. With Jones under center, we’d expect all Jaguars role players to take a slight hit in their fantasy production. Jones’ impact on the passing game could be particularly detrimental to Brian Thomas Jr., who has seen 54.6 percent of his receiving yards via the deep ball.

This is more so Harbaugh saying Hamilton avoided the worst, but it doesn’t mean he won’t miss some time with the injury. The Ravens don’t have their bye until Week 14, so Hamilton could be looking at missing a handful of games depending on the severity of his injury. He is set to undergo an MRI to get a better look at everything, but he now has 10 days to recover before his next game, which is set for Week 11 against the Steelers.
