Speaking to The Athletic’s Tashan Reed, Davante Adams said, “This is where I want to be,” when asked about where or not he wanted to play elsewhere in 2024.
Adams also said, “If I wanted to be gone, I’d be gone by now.” It’s hard to argue against that point. The 31-year-old receiver is coming off a 2023 campaign in which he went for 103-1,144-8 and has been named First-team All-Pro in three of his last four seasons. If Adams wanted to leave, the Raiders could still fetch decent trade value from a contender if the two sides wanted to move on from one another. Adams is heading into the third year of a five-year deal he signed with the Raiders during the 2022 offseason. Still a top producer at the position, Adams should have plenty of upside in 2024 as the Raiders continue to funnel him targets regardless of who is under center.
