Eagles acquired QB Kenny Pickett from the Steelers in exchange for draft picks.
The Eagles sent the No. 98 pick in this year’s draft and a 2025 seventh-round pick to the Steelers in exchange for Pickett and the 120th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Pickett reportedly wanted to move on from the Steelers after the team announced the signing of Russell Wilson and now gets a chance for a fresh start with the Eagles. Pickett has thrown for 4474-13-13 in 25 career games with the Steelers and went 14-10 as a starter. Playing in an offense led by former offensive coordinator Matt Canada didn’t do Pickett any favors over the last two years, but it became apparent toward the end of last season that the team felt more comfortable with Mason Rudolph at the helm after they opted to play Rudolph over Pickett in the team’s Wild Card loss to the Bills. We’ve seen enough from Pickett to know he’s likely best served as a career backup, but a solid year or two in Philadelphia could reignite interest in him as a starter once his rookie contract expires.

Panthers TE Ja’Tavion Sanders (concussion) was taken to the hospital after exiting the team’s Week 12 game.
Sanders suffered a frightening head/neck injury late in the first half and was carted off the field. The rookie was reportedly taken straight to a nearby hospital, where he was to undergo testing and treatment for the brain injury. Sanders had three grabs for 49 yards before leaving the contest. Tommy Tremble will function as Carolina’s TE1 with Sanders sidelined.
  • HOU Safety #5
Jalen Pitre (shoulder) left Houston’s Week 12 game against the Titans and was ruled out.
Pitre initially was ruled questionable. He left in the second quarter without his helmet and was not spotted on the sidelines at the beginning of the second half. The Texans moved Jimmie Ward into the nickel safety spot.
  • CAR Tight End #0
Panthers TE Ja’Tavion Sanders exited the team’s Week 12 game against the Chiefs.
Sanders caught a pass late in the second quarter and was flipped onto his head, with his neck bending in an awkward way. The rookie was in obvious pain and was carted off after receiving attention from both teams’ training staffs. Sanders had three catches for 49 yards before leaving the contest.
  • MIA Linebacker #6
Dolphins LB Anthony Walker Jr. left Week 12 against the Lions with a hamstring injury.
Walker Jr. was backpedaling into coverage, came up hobbling, and asked for a substitute. He walked off the field with tears in his eyes and immediately got hugs from his teammates, which is likely not a good sign for his return this week. Tyrel Dodson will replace him in the starting lineup, but it could be a big loss for Miami over the middle of the field.
  • WAS Running Back #8
Brian Robinson (leg) returned for Week 12’s game against the Cowboys.
Robinson didn’t miss a drive after exiting with a leg injury on the Commanders’ first play of the game. The third-year back suffered what appeared to be a nasty leg/ankle injury after a defender rolled up on him. After a short trip to the bench and then the locker room, Robinson was back out on the ensuing drive and immediately took a carry for a seven-yard gain.
  • WAS Running Back #8
Brian Robinson (leg) exited in the first quarter of the Commanders’ Week 12 game against the Cowboys.
On his first carry of the game, Robinson had his leg/ankle rolled up on by the defender, where it appeared trapped for a brief moment. After being down for several minutes, Robinson was able to get up and leave under his own power before leaving for the locker room. It seems unlikely he would return in this one.
  • WAS Kicker #3
Austin Seibert is active for Week 12 against the Cowboys.
Seibert has missed the last two games due to a hip injury but will be back kicking for the Commanders in Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. Seibert has been one of the most valuable players on Washington’s roster this season, converting 25-of-27 field goals while going a perfect 22-for-22 on his extra points. He should have plenty of opportunities in Sunday’s game against the Cowboys porous defense.
  • MIA Defensive Back #29
Dolphins declared RB Jeff Wilson, Jr., CB Ethan Bonner, CB Kendall Fuller, LB Mohamed Kamara, OL Andrew Meyer, TE Jack Stoll, and WR Dee Eskridge inactive for Week 12 against the Patriots.
There are no major surprises here as Fuller could not make it back from a concussion he suffered in Week 10. 2023 second-round pick Cam Smith should see more snaps in his absence. The big names for Miami are the ones that are not here as both Alec Ingold and Terron Armstead will be active, which should be a big boost for De’von Achane and the running game.
  • NE Cornerback #0
Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez is active for Week 12 against the Dolphins.
Gonzalez had been listed as questionable earlier in the week, but the Patriots always felt like he was trending toward playing. After doing a pre-game workout, he was deemed good to go which is a big help with the Patriots set to take on Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle today.
  • IND Tackle #79
Colts declared T Bernhard Raimann, TE Will Mallory, DE Isaiah Land, S Darren Hall, WR Anthony Gould, and QB Sam Ehlinger inactive for Indianapolis’ Week 12 game against the Lions.
Raimann still has not practiced since injuring his knee in practice a couple Wednesdays ago. His Week 13 status is probably up in the air at this point. The rest of this list is the usual inactives for Indianapolis, with three repeats and third quarterback Ehlinger joining Land — who had played in 10 of 11 games so far for the Colts this year despite just one tackle.
