  • BUF Defensive End #56
Bills EDGE Leonard Floyd said, “I’ll always go where the money goes,” when asked about his impending free agency.
Floyd said he’d prefer to stay in Buffalo, but the Bills are almost $50 million over the cap space, which could make retaining Floyd a tall task in 2024 and beyond. The veteran pass rusher tied a career-high this season when he racked up 10.5 sacks in his first year with the Bills. Floyd has posted nine or more sacks in each of the last four seasons and will be 32 at the start of next season. He still has enough in the tank to serve as a situational pass rusher, which is how he’d likely be utilized next season. Floyd played in all 17 of the Bills’ regular season games in 2023 but played on just 576 snaps, his fewest since his 2016 rookie season.
  • SEA Linebacker #17
Seahawks LB Jerome Baker (hamstring) is questionable for Week 2 against the Patriots.
Baker’s Friday practice designation has yet to be released but thanks to the Patriots, the official game designations have been released. Baker was a limited participant on both Wednesday and Thursday. Seahawks LB Tyrel Dodson (shoulder) is also questionable while LB Uchenna Nwosu (knee) has already been ruled out.
  • TEN Safety #33
Titans S Jamal Adams (hip) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 2 against the Jets.
Adams logged three full practices before being cleared from the injury report. It’s a revenge game for Adams as he squares off against the organization that took him sixth overall all the way back in 2017. Adams will start off in a rotational role for his first game as a Titan.
  • NE Guard #62
Patriots OG Sidy Sow (hip) will not play in Week 2 against the Seahawks.
Sow missed Week 1 because of the hip injury and will sit for at least one more week. He started 13 games at right guard as a rookie and was projected to move to left guard in his second season. Michael Jordan (not that one) took his spot in the lineup in Week 1 and should do so again versus Seattle. Safety Kyle Dugger is listed as questionable because of an ankle injury.
  • NE Running Back #4
Patriots RB Antonio Gibson (hip) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 2 against the Seahawks.
Rhamondre Stevenson dominated the Patriots’ backfield in Week 1, leaving Gibson with just seven carries and no receptions. He is purely a backup right now and is nothing more than a fantasy RB5 for Week 2.
  • SEA Running Back #9
Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III (oblique) is doubtful for Week 2 against the Patriots.
Walker will be replaced by No. 2 RB Zach Charbonnet, whose dual-threat skillset should at least return RB3 value despite the tough matchup. Seahawks HC Mike Macdonald demonstrated a commitment to the run game last week, reinforcing Charbonnet’s projectable volume. RT George Fant (knee) is also listed as doubtful.
  • NO Defensive Back #23
Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) is questionable for Week 2 against the Cowboys.
Lattimore didn’t practice at all this week, making him unlikely to take the field on Sunday. This is the latest in a long line of injuries for the veteran corner. Lattimore hasn’t played a full season since 2021, missing 17 games over the past two years. Tyrann Mathieu was cleared from the injury report while defensive linemen Bryan Bresee (illness) and Isaiah Foskey (back) were listed as questionable.
  • ARI Cornerback #16
Cardinals listed CB Max Melton (concussion) as questionable for Week 2 against the Rams.
The second-round rookie could provide mild depth for the Cardinals’ lackluster cornerback corps, if active. WR Xavier Weaver (oblique) is also listed as questionable.
  • NO Wide Receiver #17
Saints WR AT Perry (hand) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 2 against the Cowboys.
Perry missed Week 1 with the hand issue but got in a full week of practices ahead of the Saints’ matchup with the Cowboys. He will likely start the year behind veteran receiver Cedrick Wilson on the depth chart.
  • NO Tight End #87
Saints TE Foster Moreau (concussion) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 2 against the Cowboys.
Moreau took a shot to the head late in the Saints’ Week 1 win over the Panthers and immediately entered the league’s concussion protocol. He was limited in the first practice of the week but got upgraded to full sessions on Thursday and Friday. Moreau led the Saints’ tight ends in routes and targets in Week 1, catching all four of his looks for 43 yards and a touchdown. He ranks as a fringe TE2 heading into the weekend.
  • DET Tackle #58
Lions RT Penei Sewell (ankle) is questionable for Week 2 against the Bucs.
Sewell had his ankle rolled on in the Lions’ Week 1 win over the Rams. He was held out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday this week before being upgraded to a limited session on Friday. Head coach Dan Campbell told reporters he wasn’t sure if Sewell would be able to play and that they are trying to be smart about his injury. The All-Pro right tackle is truly questionable for Week 2. Dan Skipper would likely be the next man up if Sewell can’t go.
