NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Browns and Eagles have requested an interview with Chargers OC Kellen Moore for the same position.
The hiring of head coach Jim Harbaugh by the Chargers has likely opened the door for Moore to seek opportunities elsewhere. While his departure from the Chargers hasn’t been officially confirmed, Harbaugh’s ties to NFL play-callers and his history with the likes of Greg Roman could leave Moore on the outside looking in. Moore has long been discussed as a potential head coaching candidate and actually interviewed for the Chargers’ head coaching vacancy earlier this month. His first season with the team was somewhat of a tumultuous one, thanks in part to injuries to Mike Williams and Justin Herbert. Prior to Herbert going down, the Chargers averaged 21.7 points per game and were sixth in early-down pass rate. His commitment to the passing game drew criticism in Dallas, but was valued by the Chargers last offseason. It wouldn’t be surprising to see a team in search of a high-powered passing game target him for an OC role this offseason.

Keon Coleman caught 1-of-2 targets for 17 yards in the Bills’ Week 16 win over the Patriots.
The Bills’ four-player wide receiver rotation creates a fantasy-friendly environment for Josh Allen and a fantasy-unfriendly situation for the team’s wide receivers. Coleman is currently stuck in the No. 3 and contributes in a volatile manner accordingly. He will have slightly better big-play odds against the Jets next week.

Deebo Samuel caught 7-of-9 targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ Week 16 loss to the Dolphins, adding five carries for 25 yards.
It’s been a nightmare season for Samuel and things got much worse before kickoff when San Francisco was mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. While it may not make 49ers fans feel much better, they were treated to vintage Deebo this week. Samuel served as the change-of-pace back behind Patrick Taylor and averaged a respectable five yards per carry. Even more impressive was his touchdown grab. Brock Purdy hit him on a shallow crossing route and Samuel plunged through a pair of Miami defenders, sending them to the turf as he pushed his way into the end zone. Samuel was slippery in space and rarely went down on first contact, traits he’s struggled to establish this year. Even with nothing left to play for, the 49ers should put up plenty of points in a likely shootout with the Lions next week, putting Samuel on the WR2/3 border.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #18
Amari Cooper caught 1-of-2 targets for 10 yards in the Bills’ Week 16 win over the Patriots.
Cooper’s strange 2024 saga continues. The mid-season acquisition was on-field for just 32 of Josh Allen’s 59 dropbacks, rendering him the team’s de facto No. 4 WR. Cooper could have a bounce-back week against the beleaguered Jets in Week 17 but he obviously possesses an untrustworthy fantasy floor.
  • LV Wide Receiver #11
Tre Tucker caught 2-of-4 targets for 41 yards in the Raiders’ Week 16 win over the Jaguars.
Tucker and Jakobi Meyers posted equal statlines of 2-41-0 with Meyers receiving just one more target. The speedy 23-year-old did haul in a 29-yard reception, but it was radio silence from that point on. Even with the ability to make plays down the field, Tucker isn’t someone who can be used in fantasy at this stage. That will remain true in Week 17 against New Orleans.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #10
Khalil Shakir caught 2-of-6 targets for 22 yards in the Bills’ Week 16 win over the Patriots.
Shakir finished second on the team in targets but had a tough day against the Patriots’ secondary. CB Jonathan Jones deftly punched the ball out of Shakir’s grip during a tackle but the shifty slot receiver scrambled over a prone Jones to recover the ball. Shakir came very close to reeling in an end zone pass partway through the third quarter but ultimately lost the contested catch in a physical clash with a Bills’ DB. He should have an easier outing in Week 17, facing a Jets defense that could be without slot CB Michael Carter II (back).
  • LV Wide Receiver #16
Jakobi Meyers caught 2-of-5 targets for 41 yards in the Raiders’ Week 16 win over the Jaguars.
Meyers was limited this week with an ankle injury, but his lack of effectiveness has more to do with the Raiders’ QB play than his health. The veteran wideout snagged passes from 24- and 17-yards-out, but outside of that it was a very quiet day for every receiver on the roster not named Brock Bowers. Meyers should be able to bounce back with a more effective outing in Week 17 against the Saints.
  • MIA Running Back #28
De’Von Achane rushed 17 times for 120 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins’ Week 16 win over the 49ers, adding six receptions for 70 yards.
Achane had been coasting on receiving volume for a while heading into Week 16. He had yet to top 100 yards on the ground this year and his last game over 41 yards came in in Week 11. With fantasy championship berths on the line, Achane did it all today. The receiving role, per usual, was elite. Achane tied Tyreek Hill for a team-high in targets and led the team outright in receiving yards. The second-year back finally got a chance to show off his home run speed as well. Having been stifled on the ground for most of the season, Achane never looked back when a massive hole opened up late in the fourth quarter and he cashed in for a game-sealing, 50-yard touchdown. Achane’s receiving output has him locked into a top-12 rank for Week 17 versus the Browns while his speed gives him an RB1 overall ceiling.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #13
Mack Hollins caught 2-of-3 targets for 25 yards in the Bills’ Week 16 win over the Patriots.
Hollins was mostly an afterthought in a bizarre win for the Bills. The Patriots’ first-half successes kept the Bills’ offense on the sideline and Josh Allen’s throwing-elbow contusion negatively impacted his downfield passing. Hollins remains a highly volatile flex option against the Jets in Week 17.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #11
Parker Washington caught 6-of-6 targets for 54 yards in the Jaguars’ Week 16 loss to the Raiders.
Washington, 22, was the top target for much of the game for Mac Jones until Jones remembered Brian Thomas Jr. played for the team. The 2023 sixth-round pick has shown some flashes over the last few weeks, but his lack of use in the red zone — on top of Jacksonville not getting there very often — makes him more of a long-term option than one fantasy managers should be clamoring for.
  • BUF Tight End #86
Dalton Kincaid caught 4-of-7 targets for 15 yards in the Bills’ Week 16 win over the Patriots.
Kincaid landed hard on his healthy, left knee early on but he ultimately missed no time despite briefly sporting a limp. Though Kincaid’s final stat line undoubtedly underwhelms, both his four receptions and seven targets were team highs. Kincaid is a touchdown-dependent fantasy starter in Week 17, facing a Jets defense that lost coverage LB C.J. Mosley to injured reserve earlier this month.
