Rams declared OLB Nick Hampton, S Quentin Lake (hamstring), OL Warren McClendon, TE Brycen Hopkins and DL Earnest Brown IV inactive for Week 13 against the Broncos.
There are no surprises here and no real difference-makers on the list. Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp will continue to suit up for the Rams despite being banged up.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Lions’ DC Aaron Glenn will have a second interview with the Jets for their head coaching vacancy.
Glenn’s closest ties are to the Jets and Saints, but it was the Jets who selected them No. 12 overall in the 1994 NFL Draft. The fourth-year defensive coordinator will have an in-person interview with the Jets this time and could receive an offer at any moment. With other teams still lined up to speak with Glenn, there’s a chance he will have more interviews before deciding where he wants to start his head coaching career.
  • HOU Cornerback #24
Derek Stingley said he wants “to be here forever” when asked about a possible contract extension with the Texans.
A first-round pick of the Texans back in 2022, Stingley is officially eligible for a contract extension before the start of next season. Whether or not the Texans are in a rush to give him that long-term extension is another question, as the team could still pick up his fifth-year option for the 2026 season, allowing them to potentially put off the extension for at least one more year without complicating the situation. Stingley earned a PFF coverage grade of 74.9 this season while playing on a career-high 1,012 defensive snaps. He allowed 38 receptions for 394 yards and three touchdowns, per PFF, but also picked off five passes while breaking up another 10. The two sides will almost certainly reach an extension at some point in the near future, but whether that’s this offseason or the next is to be determined.
  • DAL Coaching Staff
Cowboys’ offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer is the betting favorite to fill them team’s head coaching vacancy.
Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk writes that Schottenhemier’s odds to become the Cowboys’ next head coach currently sit at -250 on the DraftKings sportsbook — the highest of any coach in consideration. This is interesting for a few reasons; among them is the fact that there’s no official report of Schottenheimer being interviewed by the team for the role. In addition to that, Schottenheimer has never been a head coach despite spending more than 20 years as a coach in the league, and some of his most notable offensive coordinator stints left a lot to be desired. As Florio points out, Schottenheimer “has never been a serious candidate to be an NFL head coach,” but he does provide some sense of familiarity for Jerry Jones and Dak Prescott. We’ll see what follows this latest development, but Scottenheimer feels like a long shot to get the job despite what the current odds suggest.
  • DET Head Coach
Lions coach Dan Campbell said he’s willing to look outside of the organization for the team’s next offensive and defensive coordinators.
Campbell hasn’t received any official word on whether or not Ben Johnson or Aaron Glenn will be departing for heading coaching roles with other teams, but Campbell and the Lions’ media clearly see the writing on the wall. Both Johnson and Glenn have been hot names on the head coaching circuit for the last few years, and both appear destined to land head coaching roles in the coming days. While Campbell said that he believes the Lions do have the right people in the building to replace both coordinators, he didn’t rule out the possibility of looking outside of the organization if people are uncomfortable with being put into those roles. It’s going to be a busy offseason for the Lions, who could find both sides of the ball hiring new coordinators to teach new schemes. After seemingly topping out with a 15-2 record in the regular season, it will be interesting to see how they can adjust to a new environment in 2025.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #88
Jordan Whittington caught his lone target for 12 yards in the Rams’ Divisional Round loss to the Eagles.
Whittington caught 22 passes for 293 scoreless yards in his rookie season after the Rams took him in the sixth round of last year’s draft. The former Texans Longhorn enjoyed a strong but brief two-week stretch in Weeks 4 and 5 when he caught 13-of-18 targets for 151 yards while Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp were both sidelined with injuries. Whittington impressed in training camp and the preseason and could be a candidate to see an increased role in 2025.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #5
Tutu Atwell caught his lone target for 18 yards in the Rams’ Divisional Round loss to the Eagles.
Atwell posted career highs in receptions (42) and receiving yards (5620 this season but failed to find the end zone. The fourth-year receiver has never fully amounted to the caliber of player the Rams hoped for when they made him the 57th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and will likely be headed for free agency now that his rookie contract is set to expire at the end of the season. Whether it’s with the Rams or another team in 2025, the 5-foot-9 speedster is unlikely to serve as anything more than a role player in the future.
  • DET Offensive Coordinator
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports Lions OC Ben Johnson “is expected to lock in his schedule over the next days for in-person meetings.”
As Russini points out, the Raiders, Bears, and Jaguars have all shown “strong interest” in Johnson, whose offense came up short in an upset loss to the Commanders in the Divisional Round. Johnson is expected to take his time when it comes to deciding if and where he would serve as a head coach and is not a lock to meet with all teams interested in his services. In three seasons as Lions’ OC, Johnson’s offense has ranked in the top five in both yards and points per game. Considered to be one of the top offensive minds in the game, there will be high hopes for whatever team he lands with, which could also prove to have several viable fantasy assets for the 2025 season and beyond.
  • MIA Defensive Coordinator
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver will have a second interview with the Saints for their head coaching vacancy.
Weaver was a finalist for both the Commanders and Falcons jobs last offseason before both teams opted to go in different directions. The 44-year-old defensive coordinator saw his Dolphins defense rank fourth in points allowed and 10th in total yards allowed in his first year with the team. He’s no stranger to being a top candidate during coaching cycles and may soon find himself as the next man brought in to lead the Saints following a disappointing 5-12 season.
  • NYG Offensive Coordinator #9
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports Giants OC Mike Kafka will have a second interview with the Saints for their head coaching vacancy.
This isn’t the first time Kafka has made it to the final round of team interviews. The third-year offensive coordinator was also a finalist for the Seahawks’ head coaching job last offseason and the Cardinals’ head coaching job in 2023. He’s close to securing a job, and at just 37 years old, Kafka feels like a lock to get his chance at a head coaching gig eventually. It wouldn’t be surprising if we learn his fate for the Saints job in the coming days.
  • LAR Quarterback #9
Matthew Stafford said he will “take some time to think about it” when asked about his playing future.
We’ve been here before. Stafford will once again take some time to mull over his playing future but said it “sure feels like” he has some football left to play. The veteran quarterback will turn 37 next month and said less than a year ago that he could see himself playing another “three or four” seasons. Stafford threw for 3762-20-8 this season while completing 65.8 percent of his passes and nearly rallied the Rams to a win over the Eagles late in the Divisional Round defeat. He’s under contract through 2026, if he opts to continue playing, it will almost certainly be with the Rams.
