While the practice was limited, it’s a step in the right direction for Hurst, who had been starting at left guard with Andrus Peat hurt. With Peat returning in Week 6, Hurst switched over to left tackle and then suffered an ankle injury. Getting Hurst back on the field will mean the Saints are finally healthy on the offensive line, which would be a major boost for Derek Carr.

Campbell hasn’t received any official word on whether or not Ben Johnson or Aaron Glenn will be departing for heading coaching roles with other teams, but Campbell and the Lions’ media clearly see the writing on the wall. Both Johnson and Glenn have been hot names on the head coaching circuit for the last few years, and both appear destined to land head coaching roles in the coming days. While Campbell said that he believes the Lions do have the right people in the building to replace both coordinators, he didn’t rule out the possibility of looking outside of the organization if people are uncomfortable with being put into those roles. It’s going to be a busy offseason for the Lions, who could find both sides of the ball hiring new coordinators to teach new schemes. After seemingly topping out with a 15-2 record in the regular season, it will be interesting to see how they can adjust to a new environment in 2025.

Whittington caught 22 passes for 293 scoreless yards in his rookie season after the Rams took him in the sixth round of last year’s draft. The former Texans Longhorn enjoyed a strong but brief two-week stretch in Weeks 4 and 5 when he caught 13-of-18 targets for 151 yards while Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp were both sidelined with injuries. Whittington impressed in training camp and the preseason and could be a candidate to see an increased role in 2025.

Atwell posted career highs in receptions (42) and receiving yards (5620 this season but failed to find the end zone. The fourth-year receiver has never fully amounted to the caliber of player the Rams hoped for when they made him the 57th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and will likely be headed for free agency now that his rookie contract is set to expire at the end of the season. Whether it’s with the Rams or another team in 2025, the 5-foot-9 speedster is unlikely to serve as anything more than a role player in the future.

As Russini points out, the Raiders, Bears, and Jaguars have all shown “strong interest” in Johnson, whose offense came up short in an upset loss to the Commanders in the Divisional Round. Johnson is expected to take his time when it comes to deciding if and where he would serve as a head coach and is not a lock to meet with all teams interested in his services. In three seasons as Lions’ OC, Johnson’s offense has ranked in the top five in both yards and points per game. Considered to be one of the top offensive minds in the game, there will be high hopes for whatever team he lands with, which could also prove to have several viable fantasy assets for the 2025 season and beyond.

Weaver was a finalist for both the Commanders and Falcons jobs last offseason before both teams opted to go in different directions. The 44-year-old defensive coordinator saw his Dolphins defense rank fourth in points allowed and 10th in total yards allowed in his first year with the team. He’s no stranger to being a top candidate during coaching cycles and may soon find himself as the next man brought in to lead the Saints following a disappointing 5-12 season.

This isn’t the first time Kafka has made it to the final round of team interviews. The third-year offensive coordinator was also a finalist for the Seahawks’ head coaching job last offseason and the Cardinals’ head coaching job in 2023. He’s close to securing a job, and at just 37 years old, Kafka feels like a lock to get his chance at a head coaching gig eventually. It wouldn’t be surprising if we learn his fate for the Saints job in the coming days.

We’ve been here before. Stafford will once again take some time to mull over his playing future but said it “sure feels like” he has some football left to play. The veteran quarterback will turn 37 next month and said less than a year ago that he could see himself playing another “three or four” seasons. Stafford threw for 3762-20-8 this season while completing 65.8 percent of his passes and nearly rallied the Rams to a win over the Eagles late in the Divisional Round defeat. He’s under contract through 2026, if he opts to continue playing, it will almost certainly be with the Rams.

Kolar’s 2024 season peaked via an overall TE7 finish in Week 5, catching 3-of-4 targets for 64 yards and one touchdown but he never caught more than one target in a game after that. Kolar is not up for draft-day consideration in 2025 re-draft leagues but he can be stashed in exceptionally deep dynasty formats.

The Ravens drafted Ali with a fifth-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft, despite Ali having suffered a ruptured biceps at the Senior Bowl. His rookie season debut was then delayed by an early September neck injury. He made his offensive debut in Week 15 but failed to sufficiently wow the coaching staff and never managed to carve out a role for himself. He tacked on 107 return yards via four kickoff returns. Ali currently profiles as a 20th-round best ball pick in 2025.

Agholor is no longer a reliable backup, catching just 50.0 percent of passes this season. He is highly unlikely to return to fantasy relevance in 2025. The journeyman wide receiver does not need to be considered on draft day.
