  • TEN Wide Receiver #12

ESPN’s Turron Davenport reports the Titans have signed WR Shi Smith to their practice squad.
Smith was a sixth-round pick of the Panthers and played two seasons for them before getting released prior to this season. He joins a Titans team with a lackluster receiving corps behind DeAndre Hopkins. Notably, the Titans also placed RB Julius Chestnut on injured reserve, potentially opening up an offensive spot for Smith soon.
  • NE Wide Receiver #1
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Ja’Lynn Polk (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday.
Even if Polk suits up in Week 18, he is no more than a low-floor WR7. The coaching staff would undoubtedly love to get one last live-action look at the rookie but his current status is only relevant for curious dynasty managers.
  • NE Wide Receiver #9
Kayshon Boutte (illness) did not practice on Wednesday.
Boutte’s game days are typically spent running cardio and his job will not be any easier with an illness. Even if Boutte suits up for Week 18, he is entirely unreliable and not a recommended start.
  • NE Tight End #85
Hunter Henry (foot) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Henry is back on the injury report with a foot issue which could explain his Week 17 flop. The veteran tight end dealt with a foot injury back in November and has been a volatile TE1/2 since then. Assuming he suits up in Week 18, he is likely touchdown-dependent.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #2
Dyami Brown (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
Brown missed Week 17 with the hamstring issue. With little to play for in Week 18, the Commanders will likely give him another week off. Olamide Zaccheaus will continue to operate as the team’s No. 2 receiver versus the Cowboys.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #17
Terry McLaurin (ankle/rest) did not practice Wednesday.
McLaurin was listed as a DNP on Wednesday’s report last week as well and never appeared to be at much risk of missing Week 17’s game. We’ll assume its a similar situation this week. McLaurin is a safe bet to be out there for Washington’s finale game of tthe regular season. They can secure the No. 6 seed with a win but already have a playoff berth locked up. For now, fantasy managers can pencil McLaurin in as a WR2.
  • NE Quarterback #10
Drake Maye (right hand) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Though the team is listing it as a general hand injury, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports, “Maye, who suffered a finger injury during Sunday’s game, was listed as limited for practice with a right-hand injury.” The injury’s specifics are unknown beyond that but Maye appears to be on track to play this week.
  • JAX Tackle #72
Jaguars LT Walker Little (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
Little missed Week 17 with the ankle issue and is on track to sit for the team’s regular season finale as well. He was replaced by Cole Van Laden last week. Fellow offensive linemen Ezra Cleveland and Brandon Scherff were limited in Wednesday’s practice and should be good to go for Week 18.
  • NO Running Back #25
Kendre Miller (concussion) was not seen practicing on Wednesday.
Miller still has time to make it through the NFL’s concussion protocol but fantasy managers should treat him as being unlikely to play at this time. Clyde Edwards-Helaire is the best bet to lead the Saints’ backfield in touches against the Buccaneers this week.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #5
Tee Higgins (ankle/knee) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
While it’s never ideal to see Higgins on the injury report, his limited practices this week are truly just workload management barring a plot twist on their final run of the report. He should be good to go for a must-win game versus the Steelers. Coming off the three-touchdown game heard around the fantasy world, Higgins is a high-end WR2 for Week 18.
  • CIN Quarterback #9
Joe Burrow (knee/wrist) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Burrow has been a mainstay of the injury report this year but has not been affected by any of his minor issues. He will be out there for a must-win game versus the Steelers on Saturday. Cincinnati needs to win plus get losses from Denver and Miami to make the playoffs. While their odds of those things all happening are low, Burrow’s QB1 odds remain sky-high.
