Panthers elevated QB Jake Luton from the practice squad.
Just days after joining the organization, Luton will now back up veteran quarterback Andy Dalton in Week 3 against the Seahawks. Rookie starter Bryce Young has already been ruled out with an ankle injury.
  • KC Tackle #64

Chiefs LT Wanya Morris (knee) left Kansas City’s Week 10 game versus the Broncos and is questionable to return.
He was struggling to put weight on his leg after he was rolled up on from behind, and reportedly had his hands on his helmet on the sideline before heading in to the locker room. Morris was replaced by Kingsley Suamataia, who is already struggling.
  • NYG Tight End #84
Theo Johnson caught 4-of-6 targets for 37 yards in the Giants’ Week 10 loss to the Panthers.
Johnson has at least three catches for 30 yards in five consecutive games. It might not sound like much, but that’s enough of a floor to keep him comfortably inside the TE2 ranks going forward. He will return from the Giants’ Week 11 bye to face the pass-funnel Bucs.
  • NYG Running Back #26
Devin Singletary rushed eight times for 40 yards in the Giants’ Week 10 loss to the Panthers.
Singletary caught his only target for an additional five yards. Tyrone Tracy Jr. saw 18 carries and was targeted twice. Singletary is nothing more than a backup at this point. Even with Tracy coughing up a game-losing fumble, we don’t expect his workload to decrease after the team’s Week 11 bye. Singletary is not worth holding through the bye for fantasy fantasy mangers.
  • CAR Wide Receiver #17
Xavier Legette caught 3-of-4 targets for 40 yards in the Panthers’ Week 10 win over the Giants.
Legette saw four fewer targets than Jalen Cooker, who led the team in targets and yards (41) but came up big in a few crucial spots. He nabbed a 23-yard catch in the first quarter that kicked off the Panthers’ first touchdown of the day. Legette later came up with a first-down reception on the boundary as the two-minute warning approached. The catch nearly iced the game, though the Giants eventually got the ball back and forced overtime where they fumbled away the game. Legette will look to push past Coker in the pecking order for targets coming out of Carolina’s Week 11 bye. He will sit in the WR4 ranks for Week 12 versus the Chiefs.
  • IND Tackle #79
Colts LT Bernhard Raimann is questionable to return to Week 10 against the Bills with a knee injury.
Raimann missed last week with a concussion but had clear protocol in time to return for Week 10. The Colts will now turn to Matt Goncalves with Raimann out.
  • CAR Wide Receiver #18
Jalen Coker caught 3-of-8 targets for 41 yards in the Panthers’ Week 10 win over the Giants.
Coker’s box score is underwhelming, but his share of the offense was massive in Week 10. His 41 receiving yards were good for nearly a third of Bryce Young’s passing output and he logged an astounding 32 percent target share. The potential return of Adam Thielen after Carolina’s Week 11 bye could stymie a potential Coker breakout, but fantasy managers with a bench spot to spare could do worse as far as wide receiver stashes go.
  • CAR Tight End #0
J’Tavion Sanders caught both of his targets for eight yards and a touchdown in the Panthers’ Week 10 win over the Giants.
Sanders reeled in his first career touchdown on a five-yard strike from Bryce Young in the first quarter. He got the bulk of the reps at tight end once again with Tommy Tremble out and Ian Thomas leaving this game early with an injury. Sanders should continue to dominate the routes for Carolina coming out of their Week 11 bye, even if the other tight ends get healthy. With Bryce Young likely to get another start, Sanders will be stuck in the TE2 ranks for Week 12.
  • CAR Quarterback #9
Bryce Young completed 15-of-25 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers’ 20-17, Week 10 overtime win over the Giants.
Young opened the game with a dreadful sack and it seemed like Panthers fans were in for another long day of football. The former No. 1 overall pick responded shockingly well and led an eight-play, 90-yard scoring drive on his next at-bat. He capped the drive with a five-yard strike to tight end J’Tavion Sanders in the back of the end zone. The Panthers played things safe for most of the game, leaning on their ground game arguably to their detriment as the Giants mounted a comeback and pushed the game to overtime. A Tyrone Tracy Jr. fumble ultimately gifted Carolina the win and gave Young consecutive victories for the first time in his career. The second-year passer will almost certainly draw the start versus Kansas City coming out of Carolina’s Week 11 bye.
  • CAR Quarterback #9
Chuba Hubbard rushed 28 times for 153 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers’ Week 10 win over the Giants.
The career day for Hubbard almost became a nightmare late in the fourth quarter. Hubbard’s knee was bent backward while being tackled and he coughed up the football. The Giants scooped it up, putting their offense in the red zone for a potential game-tying score. Hubbard stayed down for a while and the optics of the injury were concerning to say the least. He ultimately walked off under his own power. In an almost miraculous turn of events, the Panthers immediately forced a turnover and Hubbard was on the field for the next drive as if the play never happened. Hubbard told reporters after the game that he briefly dislocated his knee and that it has happened before. He gets a Week 11 bye to recover from the knee issue which seems like it won’t cost him any time. Even with Jonathon Brooks expected to play in Week 12, Hubbard will sit in the RB2 ranks versus the Chiefs.
  • NYG Quarterback #8
Daniel Jones completed 22-of-37 passes for 190 yards and two interceptions in the Giants’ 20-17, Week 10 overtime loss to the Panthers.
Jones played three quarters of stagnant football and even looked likely to get benched at halftime. The Giants were being shutout versus one of the league’s worst defenses and he had already thrown one interception, a doink off the helmet of a defender a few feet in front of him that was eventually fielded by Xavier Woods. Jones turned things around with a 96-yard scoring drive that ended with a two-yard rushing score for the passer in the fourth quarter. He later led the Giants to a game-tying field near the end of regulation. Tyrone Tracy Jr. then fumbled away the first carry of overtime, undoing Jones’s comeback effort. Brian Daboll will have the bye week to consider whether or not he wants to trot Jones out for a Week 12 start versus the Bucs. Needless to say, fantasy managers can ignore this quarterback room going forward.
