  • DEN Running Back #38
DenverSports.com’s Andrew Mason reports Broncos RB Jaleel McLaughlin “is going to get significant carries” in Week 1.
The Broncos are expected to use a three-back rotation of McLaughlin, Javonte Williams, and Samaje Perine. There are rumors the Broncos could ease Williams back, leaving Perine and/or McLaughlin in the mix for carries. McLaughlin is the hot hand for Denver after leading the NFL in preseason scoring and with Williams in his first game back, could see more Week 1 touches than expected.
  • BAL Center #64
Ravens C Tyler Linderbaum (knee) is questionable for Week 4 against the Bills.
Linderbaum was a full participant in Friday’s practice and should be good to go. Right tackle Patrick Mekari is also good to go despite dealing with a minor neck injury. Left guard Andrew Vorhees, on the other hand, is doubtful. Though losing Vorhees isn’t ideal, getting two of the three banged up linemen on the field this week is a good outcome for Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #1
Ja’Marr Chase (shoulder) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 4 against the Panthers.
Chase was limited on Wednesday because of the shoulder injury but closed the week with a pair of full practices before being removed from the injury report. He told reporters on Thursday he felt great. There’s nothing to see here and Chase, who is coming off a 6/118/2 line versus the Commanders, remains in the WR1 ranks for Week 4.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman #98
Bengals DL Sheldon Rankins (hamstring) is out for Week 4 against the Panthers.
Co-interior starter B.J. Hill (hamstring) is listed as doubtful. Both players were sidelined for Week 3 as well. The news signals comfortable maneuvering behind the offensive line for Andy Dalton and Chuba Hubbard in Week 4.
  • LV Tight End #87
Raiders TE Michael Mayer (personal) will not play in Week 4 against the Browns.
Mayer is out for personal reasons. Head coach Antonio Pierce did not give any further details. His absence will ensure a full complement of routes for rookie tight end Brock Bowers. With Davante Adams also out, Bowers has TE1 overall potential this week. Right tackle Thayer Munford is also out for Week 4.
  • LV Defensive End #98
Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby (ankle) will not play in Week 4 against the Browns.
Crosby didn’t practice at all this week because of the ankle issue. He isn’t the only Las Vegas star ruled out for Week 4 as head coach Antonio Pierce also announced that Davante Adams won’t suit up this week. With their two best players unavailable, the Raiders are giving Cleveland every chance they can to get things back on track. The Browns are down multiple starters along the offensive line, making Crosby’s absence all the more notable. It’s now or never for Deshaun Watson.
  • MIN Quarterback #14
Sam Darnold (knee) was removed from the injury report and will play in the Vikings’ Week 4 game against the Packers.
Darnold’s renaissance season continues. He ranks in the top 10 among NFL quarterbacks with at least 25 dropbacks in both yards per attempt (8.4) and big-time-throw rate (4.8%), per PFF. Darnold is a high-end QB2 with QB1 upside in this division-rival showdown.
  • LV Wide Receiver #17
Davante Adams (hamstring) will not play in Week 4 against the Browns.
Adams was added to the injury report on Thursday as a limited participant. Given that the team ruled him out one day later, it’s safe to say he suffered a relatively serious injury in practice. Adams leaves behind a massive void of targets that will be filled by Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers. With no tight end separating as the clear TE1 for fantasy purposes, the rookie may just have to be ranked as such heading into Week 4. Meyers, on the other hand, will stay in the WR3 ranks after seeing nine targets with Adams on the field last week.
  • CHI Wide Receiver #15
Bears WR Rome Odunze (hip) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 4 against the Rams.
Keenan Allen was listed as questionable but got in a full practice to close the week. He looks likely to return after missing two games because of a heel injury. Allen led the Bears with 11 targets in Week 1. We don’t expect him to see that many looks in his first game back, but his return does take some targets off the table for Odunze and DJ Moore. Despite going for 112 yards and a touchdown in Week 3, Odunze ranks as a low-end WR3 with Allen seemingly back in the fold.
  • CHI Wide Receiver #13
Keenan Allen (heel) is questionable for Week 4 against the Rams.
Allen suffered the heel injury in Week 1 and has been out ever since. He returned to practice this week and got in two limited sessions before being upgraded to a full participant on Friday. A full practice to close the week suggests he is good to go despite the questionable tag. Allen saw 11 targets in Week 1. Though he may be eased back into the lineup, the potential volume makes it hard to leave him out of fantasy lineups as a FLEX play.
  • NO Running Back #41
Alvin Kamara (hip/ribs) was seen participating in Friday’s practice.
Kamara missed Wednesday’s practice but was able to participate in a limited capacity on Thursday. His continued participation on Friday all but guarantees he will suit up for the Saints’ Week 4 game against the Falcons. He remains an RB1.
