Bucs WR Russell Gage was carted off the field Wednesday.
Gage suffered what appeared to be a serious leg injury. Trainers tended to the veteran wideout as he writhed in pain before the cart came out. If he misses significant time, Trey Palmer or Deven Thompkins could make their way into three-receiver sets alongside Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Gage, 27, who took a pay cut to remain with the Bucs this season, had 51 receptions for 426 yards and five touchdowns last year for Tampa.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said Brock Purdy (shoulder) got in some “light throwing” on Monday.
According to Shanahan, everything went well during Purdy’s light-throwing session. It’s too early to say whether or not he’ll suit up for Week 13’s game against the Bills, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday that Purdy “should be able to return” next week. We’ll see what happens in the coming days, but Monday’s reps seem to be a step in the right direction for the 49ers’ signal-caller.
  • SF Tackle #77
49ers G Dominick Puni (shoulder) is undergoing an MRI on Monday.
The rookie guard played every snap in Week 12’s loss to the Packers, but apparently something popped up. He’d be a huge loss for the 49ers. Deommodore Lenoir (knee) is also getting an MRI for the 49ers after playing 93 percent of the snaps. This team just can’t buy a health-based break this year.
  • SF Center #55
49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said Jon Feliciano (knee) will remain on injured reserve and be out for the remainder of the season.
His knee “hasn’t responded” how the team had hoped. Feliciano, 33 next February, may be at the end of the line as he hits free agency after the season. He did not play at all this year.
  • GB Wide Receiver #87
Romeo Doubs (concussion) did not practice on Monday.
It would be a miracle if Doubs cleared concussion protocol in three days ahead of Thursday’s game against the Dolphins. His likely absence will get Dontayvion Wicks more involved in Week 13, and perhaps make him and Christian Watson more playable WR3/FLEX ideas.
  • MIA Tackle #77
Dolphins activated LG Isaiah Wynn (quad) from the physically unable to perform list.
Wynn opened the season on the PUP list but is finally ready to make his return. The veteran guard has played in just 16 games over the last two seasons and started all seven games he appeared in at left guard last season. He’s expected to resume his role as the team’s starting guard and could be on the field as early as this Thursday against the Packers.
  • CAR Defensive Back #21
Panthers claimed CB Akayleb Evans off waivers from the Vikings.
Evans, who has struggled with concussions since being drafted in 2022, will fight for playing time in a flotsam-filled Panthers CB room. Evans played 855 defensive snaps in 2023 for the Vikings, but that total was just three in 2024. He did work on Vikings special teams, a factor which figures to make him a useful back-of-roster DB for the Panthers.
  • LAC Tight End #88
Chargers placed TE Hayden Hurst (hip) on injured reserve.
He’ll be out at least four weeks. Hurst has not played a real role for the Chargers since Week 4, with just 24 snaps combined in Weeks 6-10 and a few inactives over that span as well. If for whatever reason you were holding on to him, he’s an easy fantasy football drop.
  • DET Wide Receiver #11
Kalif Raymond (foot) was listed as a DNP on Monday’s estimated practice report.
This doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Raymond suffered a foot injury in Sunday’s win over the Colts, and head coach Dan Campbell said after the game that his injury was “a little more serious” than what some other players on the team were dealing with. Monday’s report was only an estimation, but it’s probably safe to assume Raymond is unlikely to play on Thursday against the Bears.
  • LAC Cornerback #33
Chargers activated DB Deane Leonard (hamstring) from injured reserve.
Leonard’s practice window was opened 12 days ago. He’ll be back after missing all but five defensive snaps so far this year. They also signed Eli Apple to the active roster. It’s an infusion of DB depth ahead of Monday’s game against the Ravens.
  • DET Wide Receiver #14
Lions listed Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee) as a DNP on Monday’s estimated practice report.
The Lions didn’t hold an official practice on Monday as they prepare for a short week. Set to face the Bears on Thanksgiving Day, the Lions will get in some light work before Thursday, and we’d expect ARSB to take part in that at some point. There were no post-game reports of him dealing with an injury, so whatever it is that would have sidelined him on Monday is likely minor. He should be a solid WR1/WR2 this week.
