Broncos signed DE Zach Allen, formerly of the Cardinals, to a three-year, $47.8 million contract.
The deal includes $32.5 million in guaranteed money. A former third-round pick, Allen’s role slowly grew throughout his time in Arizona. That culminated in him starting all 13 games he was healthy for in 2022 while earning a career-high in snap share. He repaid Arizona with the best year of his career. Allen totaled 5.5 sacks and 10 TFLs while breaking up eight passes. The breakout season earned him a sizable paycheck in free agency. Allen is also following defensive coordinator Vance Joseph to Denver, making the transition to his new team far easier.

  • PHI Linebacker #40

Eagles claimed EDGE Charles Harris off waivers from Carolina.
He’ll be help for the Eagles as they try to maintain pass-rushing depth with Brandon Graham done for the year. Harris had three sacks in 421 snaps with the Panthers this year and hasn’t had more than that since 2021’s eight. He’ll be part of the rotation on passing downs for the Eagles going forward.
  • NYG Linebacker #51
Giants placed EDGE Azeez Ojulari (toe) on injured reserve.
Now that he’s set to miss at least four weeks, it’s likely that there’s no reason the Giants will feel the need to bring Ojulari back on an expiring contract for Week 18. Assuming the toe injury isn’t more serious than publicly known, Ojulari’s second-round pedigree and seven sacks should put him on the free-agent market in 2025 as a third EDGE, with at least some chance a team would see him as more than that. The Giants look very foolish for not trading him at the deadline, but such is the way of the Giants.
  • MIN Linebacker #44
Vikings signed LB Jamin Davis off Green Bay’s practice squad.
He’ll take Ivan Pace Jr.'s spot on the roster. Davis had signed with the Green Bay practice squad about four weeks ago, and he now becomes a reclamation project for Brian Flores. The first-round pedigree certainly points to the tools being able to work in the NFL, and Flores will try to get more out of him than the Commanders did for four seasons.
  • WAS Running Back #36
Commanders signed RB Chris Rodriguez to their active roster.
That may as well be a glaring siren that at least one of Austin Ekeler (concussion) and Brian Robinson Jr. (ankle) are going to be hard to trust this week. Jeremy McNichols is the only healthy back on the Commanders roster. It’s possible that Rodriguez gets as far up the pecking order as lead committee back this week if both Ekeler and Robinson sit. He’s a potentially worthwhile waiver claim in deeper leagues.
  • WAS Kicker #3
Commanders placed K Austin Seibert (hip) on injured reserve.
He will, as always, miss at least the next four games. Zane Gonzalez will kick for the Commanders this week, though it will be his last practice-squad elevation and it is unknown if they’ll sign him to the active roster after Week 13. Seibert missed a field goal and two extra points, including one that would have tied the game, against the Cowboys in Week 12. He claimed he was healthy afterwards, but it was fairly obvious he was still struggling.
  • NYG Tight End #80
Giants claimed TE Greg Dulcich off waivers from the Broncos.
Dulcich has just 16 targets over the last two seasons under Sean Payton, but perhaps a change of scenery can bring him back to the 2022 form that saw him targeted 55 times in just 10 games under Nathaniel Hackett. He’ll have to beat out Daniel Bellinger and Chris Manhertz to see playing time with the Giants in their last six weeks of the season. Dulcich is under contract for one more season after this on his rookie deal.
  • MIN Linebacker #0
Vikings placed LB Ivan Pace Jr. (hamstring) on injured reserve.
He’ll miss at least the next four games. Pace Jr. hasn’t been quite the force he was in 2023 as a coverage player in his second season, but his 85.6 PFF run defense grade shows how important he is for the Vikings run defense. He left Week 12’s game against the Bears after just five snaps. Kamu Grugier-Hill picked up most of the snaps next to Blake Cashman in his absence.
  • DET Wide Receiver #11
Kalif Raymond (foot) did not practice on Tuesday.
Dan Campbell said the Lions were waiting for a second opinion on Raymond and that they’re not feeling good about him being up this week. Tim Patrick saw much more work on Sunday and would likely be Raymond’s main replacement on offense for those of you in deeper leagues.
  • DET Wide Receiver #14
Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee) was limited in Tuesday’s practice.
Dan Campbell said he was feeling good about St. Brown playing this week. He also said he might use St. Brown as the punt returner this week with Kalif Raymond likely out. As long as nothing major pops up on Wednesday, Brown will be on the WR1/WR2 borderline against the Bears in Week 13.
  • DET Running Back #5
David Montgomery (shoulder) was limited in practice on Tuesday.
Combine the upgrade from a Monday DNP with Dan Campbell saying he was feeling good about Montgomery’s chances and we have a much more optimistic outlook on Montgomery playing in Week 13 than we did 24 hours ago. Montgomery will be on the RB1 line against the Bears in what projects as a decisive Lions win.
