Vikings restructured DT Ross Blacklock’s contract.
Blacklock took a pay cut of roughly $683k that can be earned back through incentives next season. A former second-round pick of the Texans in 2020, Blacklock has played in 40 games through three seasons and was acquired by the Vikings last season in a swap of late-round picks.

49ers signed WR Equanimeous St. Brown.
He’ll help soak up training camp reps with Brandon Aiyuk, Ricky Pearsall, and Jauan Jennings dealing with various levels of disgruntlement or injury recovery. St. Brown played in two games with the Saints last year, and was last a starter with the 2022 Bears.
Cowboys reportedly unhappy with Blue's work habits
Patrick Daugherty reacts to a report around Cowboys rookie Jaydon Blue's work habits and why this is happening at "the right time" with room to course correct before Week 1.
  • SF Wide Receiver #15
49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said Jauan Jennings has “not formally requested a trade.”
My “hasn’t formally requested a trade” t-shirt is generating many questions that could be answered by the t-shirt. Jennings reported to camp and is expected to participate on Wednesday. How high of a level of participating we’ll see remains anyone’s guess.
  • SF Wide Receiver #11
49ers GM John Lynch said Brandon Aiyuk (knee) is “not anywhere close to having a concrete timeline” to return to the field.
“He did a lot to his knee, I’d tell you he’s in a really good place considering all that,” Lynch told 49ers reporter Cam Inman. If you’ve been following the Aiyuk knee news this offseason, it was never really a doubt that he’d take a while to return. He is probably best regarded as a return candidate for October or November in fantasy leagues.
  • DAL Linebacker #11
Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer said EDGE Micah Parsons will “participate in walkthroughs, mock games and individual drills” during training camp.
There’s some space between what Schottenheimer said and a full training camp workload, so it sounds like Parsons is a limited hold-in. We’re sure to see breathless recounting of what Parsons does and does not participate in throughout training camp as the Cowboys avoid paying him until the very last minute.
  • LAR Quarterback #9
Rams coach Sean McVay said Matthew Stafford (back) is dealing with soreness and the Rams plan to limit his practice time during the first five days of training camp.
Same. This doesn’t have the look of anything major at this point, but we’ll monitor the situation. Stafford has fringe QB1 upside in fantasy leagues this year with the addition of Davante Adams, but he has been increasingly prone to getting dinged up since missing half of the 2022 season. You’ll all understand when you turn 37.
  • CHI Defensive End #92
Bears signed DL Tanoh Kpassagnon and CB Tre Flowers.
Kpassagnon, a bane to spellcheck, played with Dennis Allen’s Saints the past three seasons. Flowers is cornerback depth with Jaylon Johnson (leg) set to miss a few weeks of training camp with an injury he suffered this offseason.
  • LAR Tackle #79
Rams RT Rob Havenstein said he’ll be “full go” for the beginning of training camp.
Havenstein had shoulder surgery this offseason, but appears to have rebounded well and should be on pace to be ready for the start of the regular season. The stalwart 33-year-old tackle missed six games last year and three games in 2023.
  • CHI Tight End
Bears GM Ryan Pace said TE Colston Loveland (shoulder) will be “ready to go.”
Ditto LT Braxton Jones. Pace then said “there will likely be a ramp-up period.” So they’re good to be ready to slowly get ready to go. Either way, there’s no reason to have any long-term concern about Loveland’s shoulder heading into his rookie season.
  • PHI Defensive End #54
    Eagles signed EDGE Ogbo Okoronkwo.
Released by the Browns in late June, Okorokwo is a fine situation pass-rusher and likely will help fill the void left by Josh Sweat in Philadelphia. Okoronkwo had 7.5 sacks in two years with the Browns after a stint with the Lovie Smith Texans in 2022 got him onto the grander NFL radar. Philadelphia also added DT Jacob Sykes and waived RB Lew Nichols and DE KJ Henry to make room for Sykes and Okoronkwo.
  • DAL Defensive End #96
    Cowboys signed EDGE James Houston.
Houston was claimed off waivers by the Browns late in the season and non-tendered. He enters a deep Dallas EDGE depth chart and is unlikely to be more than a situational pass rusher for the team. Houston had eight sacks in 2022 and one sack in the two seasons since. Dallas waived Luiji Vilain in a corresponding move. Vilain will seek to catch on with Waluiji elsewhere.
