The Tampa Bay Times’ Rick Stroud reports Bucs head coach Todd Bowles hired offensive coordinator Dave Canales “hoping he could bring the Seahawks’ efficient run game with him.”
By almost every measure, the Bucs in 2022 had the league’s worst rushing attack, as Leonard Fournette -- who will probably be released in the coming weeks -- and Rachaad White were terribly inefficient as runners and pass catchers. Tampa Bay was dead last in expected points added (EPA) per rush, with the third worst rushing success rate. White ranked 61st in yards per carry after contact, below backs like Latavius Murray and Ezekiel Elliott. Pro Football Focus graded the Bucs’ run blocking as the eighth worst in 2022. Look for the post-Brady Bucs to be a hyper-conservative offense led by Kyle Trask or a journeyman veteran who will compete with Trask for the starting job. There won’t be much fantasy appeal among Bucs players as the team enters a multi-year rebuilding project.

  • NYG Wide Receiver #1

Malik Nabers (groin) is active for Week 12 against the Bucs.
  • CHI Wide Receiver #13
Keenan Allen (ankle) is active for Week 12 against the Vikings.
D’Andre Swift is also active. Allen was a late addition to the injury report on Friday because of the ankle issue. He was listed as questionable but is good to go for Week 12. Allen is a low-ceiling WR4 for his matchup with a tough Minnesota defense.
  • WAS Defensive Back #13
Commanders declared CB Emmanuel Forbes, QB Jeff Driskel, CB Marshon Lattimore, LB Dominique Hampton, and OG Chris Paul inactive for Week 12 against the Cowboys.
Unlike the Cowboys, the Commanders enter Week 12 at nearly full-strength. While they’re still waiting for the debut Lattimore, who they traded for at this year’s deadline, the Commanders will have all of their core players intact against a woeful Cowboys team.
  • HOU Tackle #57
Texans declared T Blake Fisher, ILB Jamal Hill, DE Jerry Hughes, CB Jeff Okudah, WR Steven Sims, and DT Folorunso Fatukasi inactive for Houston’s Week 12 game against the Titans.
Fisher was declared out on Friday with a concussion, as was Fatukasi with a foot injury. Denico Autry (knee/oblique) will play off a questionable tag. Everyone else here is a healthy scratch.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Mike Evans (hamstring) is active for Week 12 against the Giants.
  • NYJ Quarterback #8
FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz reports the narrative of a fractured relationship between Aaron Rodgers and Jets owner Woody Johnson is “overblown.”
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported on Saturday that Rodgers wants to play in 2025 but for a different team. Previous reports have carried the same sentiment. The Jets fired head coach Robert Saleh early in the season and just canned GM Joe Douglas, meaning it’s a page one rewrite for the franchise in the offseason. Rodgers, soon to be 41 years old, isn’t long for this league and a new staff will want to start from scratch with a quarterback of their choice. Still, the fact that someone is trying to change the narrative of Rodgers’ relationship with Johnson leaves the light on for him to play one more season in New York.
  • NE Cornerback #0
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez (hip) is likely to play in Week 12 against the Dolphins.
The same is true of defensive lineman Christian Barmore, who was listed as questionable after missing two practices for non-injury reasons this week. Barmore was added tot he injury report with a hip issue on Friday, causing some concern for his Week 12 availability. The Pats remain significant underdogs to the Dolphins this week, but getting the young duo of Barmore and Gonzalez on the field is a small boost to a defensive unit that has struggled this year.
  • ARI Tackle #73
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Cardinals OT Jonah Williams (knee) will play in Week 12 against the Seahawks.
Williams went down with what appeared to be a season-ending knee injury after just 22 snaps in Week 1. The injury news wasn’t as bad as Arizona initially feared and the team took him off injured reserve ahead of Week 9. He still hasn’t made his return to the lineup, but all signs point to that happening today. Kelvin Beachum has held down the right tackle spot admirably and could still be used to limit Williams’ reps in his first game back.
  • SEA Tight End #87
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports “it’ll be close” on if Noah Fant (groin) will play in Week 12 against the Cardinals.
Fantt is attempting to return from a multi-week groin issue that he suffered in Week 8. He was only able to practice twice this week before being listed as questionable. Even if active, he will likely split reps with rookie A.J. Barner. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for TE2 production in Week 12.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #1
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Malik Nabers (groin) is expected to play in Week 12 against the Bucs.
Nabers was a late addition to the injury report this week before being listed as questionable because of the groin issue. He told reporters on Friday he intends to play. The groin issue has previously popped up for Nabers but has yet to cost him any playing time. That should hold true through Week 12. Nabers is a far less appealing fantasy option with Tommy Devito under center but should still be treated as a volume-based WR2 versus the Bucs.
