  • KC Offensive Coordinator
Chiefs promoted quarterbacks coach Matt Nagy to offensive coordinator.
Eric Bieniemy’s departure to serve as Washington’s offensive coordinator left the same role in Kansas City open. Nagy was on Andy Reid’s staff in Philadelphia and even spent a year as his offensive coordinator with the Chiefs in 2017. He left to be the Bears’ head coach, though that gig ended with his firing after four seasons. Nagy returned to Kansas City to replace Mike Kafka as the Chiefs’ quarterbacks coach. Fluent in Reid’s offense, Nagy was the obvious choice to replace Bieniemy. Reid will still design and call the offense, so don’t expect any changes in 2023.

  • ARI Wide Receiver #4
Greg Dortch caught 4-of-4 targets for 38 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 4 loss to the Commanders.
Fantasy managers who spent all offseason getting Dortch pilled are still waiting on their return. The Cards’ slot receiver topped out at 47 receiving yards in Week 1 and has managed just 84 yards over the last three weeks. Dortch came close to scoring on the Cardinals’ first offensive drive but fell just short of the end zone only to see Marvin Harrison Jr. score two plays later. Dortch shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than a WR5 in Week 5 against the 49ers.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #14
Michael Wilson caught 3-of-7 targets for 38 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 4 loss to the Commanders.
Wilson’s seven targets led all Cardinals players, as he’s now totaled 16 targets in the last two weeks. The second-year receiver caught a 22-yard pass early in the fourth quarter but then fumbled the ball away to add to the Cardinals’ offensive woes. Wilson is quietly emerging as a solid WR2 in Arizona’s offense, but we shouldn’t expect him to average 8.5 targets per game every week. The impending return of Trey McBride (concussion) in Week 5 could put a damper on Wilson’s fantasy outlook against the 49ers.
  • SF Running Back #31
Isaac Guerendo rushed one time for zero yards in the 49ers’ win over the Patriots.
Guerendo fumbled on the second-half’s opening kickoff, giving the Patriots possession on the 49ers’ 27-yard line. They scored a touchdown five plays late. Guerendo is a shaky bench stash for the 49ers’ Week 5 game against the Cardinals.
  • KC Quarterback #15
Patrick Mahomes completed 19-of-29 attempts for 245 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Chiefs’ Week 4 win against the Chargers, adding five rushes for 12 yards.
Mahomes finally threw deep in this one after two and a half years of constant check-down passes, hitting Xavier Worthy for a 54-yard score on a beautifully thrown rainbow long ball. It was Mahomes’ first touchdown of more than 50 yards in 33 games. Losing Rashee Rice to a potentially serious knee injury, Mahomes peppered Travis Kelce with a team-leading nine targets against LA. In fact, KC tight ends combined for a 45 percent target share. Mahomes will remain a borderline top-12 option in Week 5 against the Saints.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #18
Marvin Harrison Jr. caught 5-of-6 targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ Week 4 loss to the Commanders.
Harrison caught two passes on the Cardinals’ first drive, capping it with a two-yard receiving touchdown. Things got tough for Harrison and the Cardinals after that, as the offense managed just seven points the rest of the way, and Harrison’s biggest gain came on a fourth and 12 when he hauled in a 19-yard reception to keep the drive alive. It was a disappointing out for Harrison, who was expected to torch a Commanders secondary that has shown little resistance thus far, but his fantasy output will be enough to satisfy managers. Harrison will look to push his touchdown streak to four next week against the 49ers.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
Jerry Jeudy caught 6-of-9 targets for 72 yards in the Browns’ Week 4 loss to the Raiders.
Jeudy led the Browns in targets and receiving yards. Only Jerome Ford caught more passes. Despite the team-leading counting stats, it wasn’t a great showing from Jeudy. He failed to come down with multiple contested grabs in crucial spots late in the game. Jeudy has been an inconsistent producer for Cleveland, topping 70 yards twice while being held under 30 yards in his other two appearances. That is to be expected from the No. 2 receiver on a low-output passing attack. Jeudy will remain stuck in the WR4 ranks for Cleveland’s upcoming matchup with the Commanders.
  • SF Wide Receiver #15
Jauan Jennings caught 3-of-6 targets for 88 yards in the 49ers’ win over the Patriots.
Jennings continued racking up explosive plays even with Deebo Samuel Sr. back in the lineup. Jennings makes for a volatile flex start against the Cardinals next week but his six Week 4 targets promisingly led the team this week.
  • WAS Tight End #86
Zach Ertz caught 3-of-3 targets for 22 yards in the Commanders’ Week 4 win over the Cardinals.
It was the least productive game of the year for Ertz, who has topped 40 receiving yards only once this season. Continuing to serve as Jayden Daniels’ safety valve, Ertz also caught a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter to pad an already commanding lead for Washington. Ertz has been solid as far as real-life football is concerned, but his fantasy upside remains low heading into Week 5 against the Browns.
  • DEN Wide Receiver #11
Josh Reynolds was not targeted in the Broncos’ Week 3 win against the Jets.
Courtland Sutton dominated targets (9) on the day in an ugly offensive environment on a day that saw Bo Nix throw for just 60 yards. Reynolds is Denver’s distant WR2 until further notice.
  • SF Running Back #24
Jordan Mason rushed 24 times for 123 yards and one touchdown and caught 2-of-3 targets for 37 yards in the 49ers’ win over the Patriots.
Mason also had a 38-yard receiving touchdown overturned by a holding penalty. He was extremely efficient, averaging 5.1 yards per carry and continues to make would-be tacklers miss both as a rusher and as a receiver. Mason is up to 23 missed tackles forced on the year. He remains an RB1 entering Week 5 against the Cardinals.
