Mark Ingram rushed seven times for 27 yards in the Saints’ Week 13 loss to the Buccaneers, catching all five targets for an additional 22 yards.
Ingram appeared to aggravate a right knee injury in the fourth quarter before returning to the game on the following possession, only to stay on one knee on the sideline after his final catch of the game. Further updates on his status are expected this week as the Saints head to their Week 14 bye.

  • PIT Quarterback #2
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Justin Fields (abdominal) is not expected to play in Week 17 against the Chiefs.
Fields, 25, is listed as questionable and got in two limited practices prior to the Christmas Day showcase against the Chiefs. Kyle Allen will be the backup to Russell Wilson assuming the former first-round pick does indeed sit.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #4
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Zay Flowers (shoulder) is expected to play in Week 17 against the Texans.
Flowers is listed as questionable for the Christmas showdown, but the 24-year-old wideout appears to be on the right side of that to play against Houston. Fantasy managers will want to be totally sure before having Flowers in their fantasy lineup, but assuming he does indeed play, it seems reasonable to expect a solid fantasy contribution Wednesday.
  • HOU Wide Receiver
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Diontae Johnson is not expected to play in Week 17 against the Ravens.
Johnson was claimed off waivers from Baltimore on Monday, but even with the Houston wide receiver corps decimated by injuries, the 28-year-old won’t be able to make his debut until Week 18 against the Titans it appears.
  • SEA Running Back #26
Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (elbow) was a full participant in Tuesday’s walkthrough.
Charbonnet was dealing with an oblique injury the past week and played in Week 16, though he was limited to just three touches. This week, he pops up on the injury report with an elbow injury, listed as limited on Monday, but a full participant Tuesday. With Kenneth Walker (ankle) not practicing, Charbonnet is in line to be the starter Thursday against the Bears. Fire him up as an RB2 if Walker cannot go for Week 17.
  • SEA Running Back #9
Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (ankle) did not participate in Tuesday’s walkthrough.
Walker was listed as a non-participant for the second straight day as he deals with an ankle injury. He suffered the ankle injury during the Seahawks’ Week 16 loss to the Vikings and now his status for Thursday’s game against the Bears is in jeopardy. If Walker cannot go, Zach Charbonnet will once again be the lead back. Fantasy managers should monitor Walker’s Wednesday practice capability for his final game status.
  • LAC Running Back #4
Chargers RB Gus Edwards (ankle) was limited in Tuesday’s practice.
Edwards has been the lead back since J.K. Dobbins (knee) went down. Though Dobbins’ 21-day practice window is open, Edwards is still tracking to be the lead back against the Patriots on Saturday. He was listed as limited due to an ankle injury, but there are no indications this is a major issue. Expect Edwards to be active and take on goal-line opportunities for Week 17.
  • LAC Tight End #81
Chargers TE Will Dissly (shoulder) limited in Tuesday’s practice.
Dissly continues to work his way back from a shoulder injury. Fellow TE Hayden Hurst did not practice, though given he was listed with an illness, Hurst has a chance to play on Saturday. Both Dissly and Hurst could be active against the Patriots, making neither of them, nor Stone Smartt, a top-20 tight end play.
  • LAC Running Back #27
Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) was limited in Tuesday’s practice.
The Chargers opened Dobbins’ 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve on Monday. He was listed as limited due to his knee injury on Tuesday, but given it is his first week practice, it is unlikely Dobbins will return for Week 17. His potential return won’t have a fantasy impact, but will have a real-football impact as the Chargers could get him back for a playoff run.
  • ARI Running Back #6
Cardinals RB James Conner (knee) was limited in Tuesday’s walkthrough practice.
Conner suffered the knee injury in Week 16 and did not return. Head coach Jonathan Gannon said earlier the team will “see how the week goes” for Conner’s game-day status. The Cardinals play the Rams Saturday night, so it is a shorter week than usual, but Conner’s limited status in Tuesday’s estimated report is a good sign. Backup RB Trey Benson (ankle) was also listed as limited after missing Week 16. If neither Conner nor Benson can go, Michael Carter will retain the lead back role.
  • DEN Running Back #38
Broncos RB Jaleel McLaughlin (quad) was limited in Tuesday’s practice.
McLaughlin exited Week 15 early with a quad injury and missed Week 16. He starts out this week practicing in a limited capacity and could be on track to return for Week 17 against the Bengals. The Broncos just promoted Blake Watson to the active roster and opened Tyler Badie’s practice window. McLaughlin should be off fantasy radars in this murky backfield.
