With smoke already billowing that interim coach Jeff Saturday planned to eventually bench Ehlinger for Matt Ryan, we knew that the plan was being put into action when Ryan took the first-team reps in pre-game warmups on Sunday. It’s a brutal break for Ehlinger but far from surprising after “ready for prime time” was the last thing he looked during his two starts. We would expect Ryan to continue starting as long as he remains healthy. Frankly, Ehlinger doesn’t even look like a future No. 2 at the NFL level.

The seven-year veteran was widely regarded as one of the top interior linemen in free agency, with the Dolphins pouncing on his services after struggling mightily up front a season ago. That said, Daniels comes with risk after suffering a torn Achilles in late September of 2024. Daniels has played all three interior linemen positions throughout his career and should be ready for the start of the 2025 regular season.

Per Adam Schefter, Juszczyk intends to test free agency and wants to keep playing in the league, but it could be difficult to come across a situation that brings as much playing time as he had in San Francisco considering the dying art of the fullback position. The 12-year veteran has spent the previous eight seasons with the 49ers after coming into the league with the Ravens in 2013. Now entering his age-34 season, Juszczyk no longer brings the same rushing and receiving upside he once did, but he remains one of the better all-around fullbacks in the league.

The quarterback dominoes are falling fast in free agency with Sam Darnold and Justin Fields both finding homes. The Titans might not have been chomping at the bit to sign either player, but their options are still dwindling. With the No. 1 overall pick, Ward is theirs for the taking if they want a high-upside shot on the rookie instead of going the veteran route. They could also trade back or make a surprising pick with Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders. Either way, the Titans aren’t heading into the 2025 season with Will Levis as their unquestioned starter.

Winchester stays with the Chiefs on a fully guaranteed deal. The 10-year NFL veteran has played the entirety of his career in Kansas City and enters his age-36 season right where it began.

Robinson also says he “got the sense the Titans don’t have strong Russell Wilson interest.” It’s a tough situation for Wilson, who undoubtedly believes that he deserves a starting role. Giants beat reporters have indicated that the team would like to pair a veteran quarterback with a high-end rookie, which likely means the veteran gets benched during the team’s bye week, if not sooner.

The Bengals are working to rebuild their defensive front, following DE Trey Hendrickson’s trade request and DE Sam Hubbard’s retirement. They re-signed DT B.J. Hill earlier today. Ossai posted career-highs in both QB pressures (31) and sacks (five) last season and at just 24 years old, he has the chance to take another developmental step this season.

The deal includes a maximum value of $2 million with incentives, likely pertaining to his special teams contributions. Hansen has appears in 41 games in three years with the Texans while contributing four total starts. He has served primarily as one of the team’s backup inside linebackers and should continue to so so in 2025.

The deal is worth “up to” $6 million. Board made a name for himself as a UDFA in Baltimore via his special teams prowess. He has since signed multi-year deals with multiple teams and even returned to Baltimore for the 2024 season. Board also got some run on defense last year and finished the season with 30 tackles plus one sack. He will fill a similar role in New York.

Hudson was a regular for the Browns through four seasons in the league, typically serving as somewhat of a sixth man for the Cleveland offensive line. That role afforded him 17 starts in 49 appearances through effectively three-plus seasons before landing on injured reserve with a shoulder injury in October of 2024. He brings experience at multiple positions along the offensive line to a Giants team that has struggled with health up front in recent years.

Dulin, coming off a torn ACL that cost his the entire 2023 campaign, had just two receptions for Indy in 2024. He was mostly relegated to special teams duty after seeing some receiver usage before his 2023 knee injury. Going into his age-28 season, Dulin will remain a rotational wideout for the Colts in 2025.
