49ers WR Danny Gray (hip) was removed from the Week 5 injury report.
Gray has been limited to two games after he was inactive in Week 1 and missed last week. The 49ers have slowplayed Gray, using him on 10% of snaps in the games he was active. 49ers WR Jauan Jennings (ankle) was also taken off the injury report ahead of Sunday’s game with the Panthers.

Marvin Mims caught 3-of-5 targets for 62 yards in the Broncos’ Week 16 loss to the Chargers
  • DEN Running Back #33
Javonte Williams rushed four times for 24 yards in the Broncos’ Week 16 loss to the Chargers, adding seven catches for 29 yards.
  • DEN Running Back #23
Audric Estime rushed nine times for 48 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ Week 16 loss to the Chargers.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
Ladd McConkey caught 6-of-6 targets for 87 yards in the Chargers’ Week 16 win over the Broncos.
McConkey did much of his damage on a 27-yard connection with Justin Herbert early in the game, but it was another effective outing for the rookie out of Georgia. This makes five consecutive contests that he’s picked up at least five receptions, and he’s picked up at least 80 yards in four of those five games. Simply put, McConkey has been very impressive in his rookie campaign, and there’s no reason to think it won’t keep going against the Patriots in Week 17.
  • LAC Running Back #28
Hassan Haskins caught 2-of-2 targets for 39 yards with a touchdown in the Chargers’ Week 16 win over the Broncos.
Haskins took a shovel pass from Justin Herbert late in the fourth quarter for 34 yards and a touchdown. Considering he had all of 26 yards combined in his previous action, it’s fair to say this was almost assuredly a one-off. Haskins won’t see many touches in Week 17 against the Patriots barring something unforeseeable.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #1
Quentin Johnston caught 3-of-6 targets for 18 yards in the Chargers’ Week 16 win over the Broncos.
Johnston did tie for the team lead with six targets, but he wasn’t able to do much with them while seeing his touchdown streak end at two. He also had a heinous drop near the end of the game, because of course he did. There’s no denying Johnston’s talent nor that he’s shown vast improvement over his rookie season, but this is still much more of a long-term play than one you can trust going forward as more than a WR4. He’ll look to bounce back against the Patriots in Week 17.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #12
Derius Davis caught 2-of-2 targets for 39 yards with a touchdown in the Chargers’ Week 16 win over the Broncos.
Davis scored his first first touchdown as a receiver — he picked up a touchdown as a returner in 2023 — on a 19-yard connection with Justin Herbert where he showed good concentration on a tipped pass.. The 24-year-old has yet to pick up more than two catches in a game, and that likely won’t change in Week 17 against the Patriots.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #5
Joshua Palmer caught 3-of-6 targets for 41 yards in the Chargers’ Week 16 win over the Broncos.
Palmer tied with Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston with those six targets, but he and Justin Herbert just missed on a few plays down the field. They didn’t miss on a two-point conversion where Palmer batted the ball to himself with one hand before getting both toes down for a spectacular conversion. Palmer will be a desperation play in the Chargers’ offense for the remainder of the year, with his next chance for success coming in Week 17 against the Patriots.
  • LAC Running Back #4
Gus Edwards rushed 14 times for 68 yards and two touchdowns in the Chargers’ Week 16 win over the Broncos.
Edwards also caught one pass for two yards. The tailback was completely held in check outside of the touchdowns until he had a 43-yard burst late in the game to make this statline look much more “even” in terms of the touchdowns and rushing yards. The two scores double his total on the season to four, and the yardage total is a season high. It’s also worth noting that the 14 carries nearly tripled Kimani Vidal’s five attempts (for 14 yards), so to say he was the top option in the rushing attack is an understatement. Edwards will be a FLEX option for Week 17 against the Patriots.
  • DEN Quarterback #10
Bo Nix completed 29-of-40 passes for 263 yard and two touchdowns in the Broncos’ 34-27, Week 16 loss to the Chargers, adding three rushes for 25 yards.
Nix and the Broncos’ offense started out red hot, as they scored touchdowns on their first three drives. He found Devaughn Vele and Michael Burton on short touchdown throws in the first 30 minutes, and looked to be having another outstanding fantasy game. Things did not go nearly as well over the final two quarters, however, and the Broncos scored just three points while picking up just six first downs in the third and fourth quarter. When Nix threw short things went well, but the deep shots remain inconsistent — at best — and in particular a throw to a wide-open Marvin Mims had entirely too much air into it; eliminating what could have been a long scoring play for both. Nix and the Broncos have what is now a massive Week 17 matchup against the Bengals.
