Van Dyke and the Hurricanes are off to a 2-0 start with their wins coming against Bethune-Cookman and Southern Mississippi. Now, Set to hit the road for the first time in 2022, Van Dyke and the Hurricanes face a much more difficult test against the Aggies. Fresh off an upset loss at home against Appalachian State, Texas A&M will be gunning for Van Dyke in a desperate attempt to get right before the start of SEC play. Van Dyke has been solid through two games, throwing for 446 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, but he hasn’t been asked to do much against inferior opponents. Assuming he declares for the 2023 NFL Draft, Van Dyke will find himself in one of the better quarterback classes in recent memory. A good showing at Texas A&M could mean big things for him next spring, as he looks to garner first-round buzz.
