Ridley said he’s been impressed by Ward’s arm strength and downfield accuracy. “I’ve seen a great arm, a great mind,” Ridley said. “Someone who believes he can make most of the throws and knows he can make the throws. Nice release. He can fit the ball pretty much wherever he wants. So it’s pretty impressive.” Ridley could be a valuable — if volatile — fantasy option in 2025.

Responding to a post on X, Parsons said, “I will be there...even though the contract is not done, I have teammates and a playbook!” The 26-year-old is awaiting a big contract extension from Jerry Jones and Co. and did not take part in much of the team’s on-field early offseason workouts. A hold out is possible as he waits to sign a new deal, but Parsons has not missed minicamp throughout his career and made clear his intentions to attend. Though contract negotiations have not progressed, he will avoid fines by attending. Parsons will return as leader of the defense under a new head coach to prepare for the season.

Diggs is rehabbing his knee in Miami, away from the Cowboys’ facility. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said, “no timeline for the return...all signs are positive.” Knee surgery could keep Diggs out through training camp, though rehabbing away from Dallas and not appearing at a portion of the team’s offseason program will cost him $500,000. The 26-year-old has had internal problems with the team’s training staff, so he may be willing to lose the money to rehab with his own camp. EDGE Micah Parsons has also not been working out amidst contract negotiations and the Cowboys’ defense has missed its two leaders throughout the offseason program thus far.

After spending four seasons with the Chargers, Parham spent the 2024 season with the Broncos’ practice squad before signing a one-year deal with the Steelers this offseason. His Steelers tenure may have come to a close on Tuesday as the 27-year-old suffered a torn Achilles, likely ending his 2025 season. Though Parham was the No. 3 tight end on the roster, Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith frequently uses multiple tight ends and the team will look to add another. ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that Pittsburgh has continued to inquire about Dolphins TE Jonnu Smith, renewing interest in wake of Parham’s injury.

DeJean primarily played nickelback as a rookie last season, tallying six passes defended and three fumble recoveries. At Eagles OTAs, Fangio said DeJean will be in the mix at safety for certain personnel groups. The Eagles defensive coordinator said, “it will be determined by what’s best for him and what’s best for the team... he’s capable of playing corner and he’s capable of playing safety.” DeJean has versatility in the secondary and may be utilized at multiple positions depending on the defensive coverage Fangio wants to run.

Clark played in all regular season games and the Packers’ playoff loss, but was dealing with a toe injury he sustained in Week 1. The Packers played the Eagles in Brazil to open the season and Clark injured his right toe on the turf. The 29-year-old had just one sack last season after signing a three-year, $64 million extension. Clark is at Packers OTAs and is doing individual drills while he recovers from offseason foot surgery.

Schefter adds that the deal is “still alive.” The malaise of will-he, won’t-he, but focused on Jonnu Smith instead of Aaron Rodgers must be an interesting respite for Steelers fans. We remain unsure that adding Smith will do much to fix Pittsburgh’s offense, and it seems like Darnell Washington is a more-than-capable No. 2 tight end. Because of the extension that Smith is seeking, it’s reasonable to conclude the draft-pick cost for him wouldn’t be exorbitant. We’re not entirely sure why the Dolphins would rather do this than just keep Smith and let him be a low-end fantasy TE1 this season, but perhaps they want to get out of the Jonnu Smtih game while the getting is good.

The slot player is taking part in OTAs — not necessarily at full contact — and expects to be full go in training camp. Johnson left the AFC Championship game with the injury and his absence was a big part of the problem for the Bills against Kansas City. It sounds like he’ll be ready to go for the start of training camp based on this update.
