Seahawks acquired WR/TE JJ Arcega-Whiteside from the Eagles in exchange for DB Ugochukwu Amadi.
Seattle announced Arcega-Whiteside as a wide receiver, which is notable after he tried making the switch to tight end in Philly this offseason. They’ll reportedly use him in a “hybrid” role, according to ESPN’s Brady Henderson. JJAW was the 57th overall pick in the 2019 draft and was likely not going to make the team in Philly. The Stanford product heads back to the West Coast where he’ll try to revive his career.

Jaylen Waddle caught 4-of-9 targets for 44 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 18 loss to the Jets.
These days, discussions around wide receiver contract extensions largely center around Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, but the bill is quickly coming due for Waddle, as well. Unfortunately, the fourth-year receiver had his worst season as a pro in 2024, as injuries to himself and Tua Tagovailoa undoubtedly hampered his production. Waddle’s season ends with career lows in every receiving category (58-744-2), including targets (83). While he’d likely welcome the idea of an extension this offseason, it’s possible he opts to bet on himself in the final year of his rookie deal rather than settle for whatever number the Dolphins offer him following the least productive year of his career. A breakout by tight end Jonnu Smith (88-884-8) also didn’t help Waddle’s case, as the veteran tight end was targted 109 times on the season. Waddle rattled off three-straight 1,000-yard seasons to start his career before falling off a bit this season. Any hope of a bounce back will hinge heavily on Tagovailoa’s health, but there’s no reason to think Waddle can’t get back to form in 2025.
  • MIA Running Back #28
De’Von Achane rushed 11 times for 121 yards and one touchdown in the Dolphins’ Week 18 loss to the Jets.
A fully healthy Achane gave fantasy managers everything they hoped for this offseason. The second-year speedster rushed for 907 yards and six touchdowns while operating as the Dolphins’ lead back and added another 78 receptions for 592 yards and six scores. Any concerns about Achane’s ability to handle a full assortment of touches were laid to rest this season, as he averaged 16.5 touches per game this season while amassing over 1,400 yards from scrimmage and 12 touchdowns. Achane’s volume and big-play ability will put him in the conversation as a high-end RB1 next fantasy season.

Malachi Corley did not record a touch in the Jets’ Week 18 win over the Dolphins.
It was a challenging rookie season for Corley, who was drafted by the Jets in the third round of this year’s draft. It’s not a great sign that most of the conversation around Corely centered around his maturity when Jets coaches were asked about him, but he’ll get a clean slate to work with in 2025 with a new coach and general manager on the way. Corley caught just three passes for 16 yards as a rookie, and infamously dropped a would-be touchdown short of the end zone in a Week 9 win over the Texans on a premature celebration. Corley will have some work to do in the offseason if he hopes to make more of an impact in his sophomore campaign.
  • MIN Head Coach #8
NBC Sports’ ProFootballTalk reports a Vikings source said, “We love Kevin O’Connell and there will be no trade.”
The Vikings have no reason to trade their highly successful young coach and this report puts this morning’s trade rumblings further in the rearview. O’Connell will be well paid by the Vikings this offseason, where he will remain for years to come.
  • NYJ Running Back #32
Isaiah Davis rushed four times for 41 yards in the Jets’ Week 18 win over the Dolphins.
Davis rushed 30 times for 174 yards and one touchdown on the season, with most of his production coming in the final month of the season. Davis played his way into a more significant role as the year progressed and topped out in Week 14 against the Dolphins when he totaled 67 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on 13 touches. Davis and rookie Braelon Allen both spent the season vying for touches behind Breece Hall, but it was Davis who looked like the more efficient back during the final month of the season as more opportunities emerged. Davis should have a chance to compete with Allen for the RB2 role in camp behind Hall. He could make for a high-value handcuff to Allen if he wins said camp battle.
  • NYJ Running Back
Braelon Allen rushed four times for 15 yards in the Jets’ Week 18 win over the Dolphins, adding two receptions for eight additional yards.
Once considered a touchdown vulture to Breece Hall in the Jets’ offense, Allen was anything but in his rookie campaign. The rookie fourth-rounder found the end zone three times this season and was out-played by fellow rookie Isaiah Davis late in the season. In Week 14 against the Dolphins, Davis played ahead of Allen and found the end zone. Allen’s final rushing line on the year was 92-334-2 with a 3.6 YPC. His fantasy ceiling will be capped by Hall as long as he is healthy, but he could face more challenges for fantasy relevance with Davis firmly in the mix for the RB2 role heading into next season. Assuming the Jets enter 2025 with the same trio of running backs, the camp battle between Allen and Davis will be one to monitor as we get closer to draft season.
  • NYJ Tight End #83
Tyler Conklin caught 2-of-3 targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in the Jets’ Week 18 win over the Dolphins.
Conklin found himself on the receiving end of Aaron Rodgers’ 500th career touchdown pass in Sunday’s win over the Dolphins. Conklin didn’t have quite the season some expected with a healthy Aaron Rodgers under center, but the veteran tight end now has four-straight seasons with 50-plus receptions to his name. A viable streaming option for fantasy managers this season, Conklin is now set to hit free agency, where he should see a healthy market as added depth on a roster. It seems unlikely a team would view him as a full-time starter, although we can’t rule it out in the right situation. Any fantasy value he has will be largely dependent on his landing spot this offseason.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #17
Davante Adams caught 6-of-12 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Jets’ Week 18 win over the Dolphins.
It was the allure of playing with Aaron Rodgers that drew Adams to the Jets in exchange for a conditional 2025 third-round pick being sent to the Raiders. Adams hoped to do a little ring chasing with the Jets but instead found himself in another disastrous situation not all too unfamiliar from the one he left in Vegas. While the targets were aplenty (102) during his time in New York, he’s unlikely to have Rodgers throwing him passes again next season. From a production standpoint, Adams’s numbers were on par with what we saw last season. He surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the fifth-straight season and averaged 0.0 YAC/REC – his highest mark since his rookie season. Adams is under contract through 2026, but could be on the move this offseason if the right team comes calling. While his best years are likely behind him, Adams may still have one or two top-24 fantasy seasons in him.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #5
Garrett Wilson caught 4-of-5 targets for 51 yards in the Jets’ Week 18 win over the Dolphins.
From a numbers standpoint, Wilson had yet another solid season with the Jets. The 24-year-old wideout has hit the 1,000-yard mark in each of his first three seasons while also scoring a career-high seven touchdowns. Despite an otherwise productive season that also included the second-most targets of his career (154), Wilson voiced his displeasure with the offense late in the season and has hinted at the possibility of wanting out of New York this offseason. The likely departure of Aaron Rodgers could factor into whether or not Wilson ultimately asks out, but this certainly won’t be the last we hear of any rumors regarding Wilson and his standing with the team. Whether it’s with the Jets or someone else, Wilson will profile as fringe WR1/WR2, who has earned 148 or more targets in each of his three seasons as a pro.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
In discussing his future with the Dolphins, Tyreek Hill told reporters, “I’m out, bruh. It was great playing here but at the end of the day, I have to do what’s best for my career.”
Hill initially began his response diplomatically, saying “I have to do what’s best for me and my family — if that’s here or wherever the case may be. I’m about to open up that door for myself.” His statements became more declarative as the questions continued though. When pressed at the end of the exchange about whether he was actually thinking about leaving, Hill stammered before finally saying, “yeah, if... yes,” while walking off. The Dolphins have time to iron things out this offseason but it appears as though Hill’s time with the Dolphins could be over.
