  • MIA Defensive Tackle #97

LSU redshirt senior DE Neil Farrell will declare for the the draft and opt out of the Texas Bowl.
Farrell (6'4"/325) had the best season of his college career in 2021, racking up 45 total tackles, 9.5 for loss and two sacks. He’s got positional versatility, able to play as a 4-3 DT or DE and should be able to play in a 3-4 as well. He’s one of the top nose tackles in the nation, so it makes sense to prepare for the draft.

  • PHI Wide Receiver #11
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
A.J. Brown (knee/rest) did not practice Thursday.
Brown missed a second-consecutive practice, and while he’s gotten rest early in several weeks prior to playing in games this year, this one is obviously difference with the Eagles having absolutely nothing to play for in Week 18 against the Giants. He still could play with coach Nick Sirianni not making final decisions, but fantasy managers should operate as if Brown won’t be playing in that finale.
  • PHI Quarterback #1
Jalen Hurts (concussion/finger) did not practice Thursday.
No surprise here. Hurts and Kenny Pickett (ribs) were both unable to practice again Thursday, and it seems likely that Hurts will be out with Pickett more of a game-time call for a game that has no significance for the Eagles against the Giants in Week 18. It seems likely that Hurts will be able to go in the playoff bout against either the Packers or Commanders, however.
  • TEN Tight End #85
Chig Okonkwo (abdomen) was a limited participant during Thursday’s practice.
Okonkwo’ injury appears to be a new one, as he wasn’t listed during Wednesday’s practice. For now it appears likely the 25-year-old will play, but fantasy players planning on starting Okonkwo will want to pay close attention to Thursday’s injury report.
  • TEN Running Back #20
Tony Pollard (ankle) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
Pollard has not been able to get a full practice in thus far, but the good news is he’s been able to get in two limited sessions. The same cannot be said for Tyjae Spears, as he hasn’t been able to clear the concussion protocol. If Pollard can go, he’ll be a RB2 against the Texans in Week 18.
  • TEN Running Back #2
Tyjae Spears (concussion) did not practice Thursday.
Spears remains in the concussion protocol after missing Wednesday’s practice. The second-year tailback suffered a concussion late in Week 17 against the Jaguars, and it would seem unlikely that Spears will play in Week 18 against the Texans
  • TEN Wide Receiver #83
Tyler Boyd (foot) did not participant in Thursday’s practice.
Boyd dealt with a foot injury but was still able to play in Week 17 against the Jaguars. The 30-year-old veteran will likely need to get in at least one session — even if it’s limited — to have a chance to play Sunday against the Texans There won’t be any fantasy relevancy, either way.
  • TB Wide Receiver #17
Sterling Shepard (hamstring) was limited during Thursday’s practice.
Shepard has gotten a limited designation in both practices this week after missing the Week 17 bout with the Panthers due to his hamstring and foot injuries. There’s a good chance he’ll return for the finale in Week 18, but he’ll be off the fantasy radar in large part to the emergence of rookie wideout Jalen McMillan.
  • TB Tight End #88
Cade Otton (knee) was listed as a limited participant at practice Thursday.
That’s an upgrade for Otton after he didn’t practice Wednesday. The 25-year-old tight end wasn’t able to play in Week 17 against the Panthers, but has a chance to return and help Tampa Bay qualify for the playoffs in a Week 18 showdown with the Saints.
  • TB Running Back #7
Bucky Irving (shoulder/shin) was listed during Thursday’s practice.
Irving has now been limited in consecutive practices. It appears to be more about maintenance at this point, as it’d be an upset if the 22-year-old rookie wasn’t able to go for Sunday’s (essentially) must-win game against the Saints.
  • BAL Running Back #26
Ravens RB Rasheen Ali (hip) will play in Week 18 against the Browns.
Ali gets his chance to operate in the No. 2 role with Justice Hill sidelined (concussion/illness) this week. Ali has delivered mixed results since debuting in Week 15 following a stint on injured reserve, though he has flashed intriguing tackle-breaking traits at times. Ali does not need to be in re-draft lineups but could be considered in single-game DFS tournaments.
