  • BAL Running Back #42
Ravens declared FB Pat Ricard (knee/back), WR M. Boykin (finger), TE Nick Boyle (knee), RT Pat Mekari (hand), and DB Jimmy Smith inactive for Week 14 against the Browns.
Ricard is a significant loss for Baltimore’s rushing attack. The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec said the Ravens could resort to heavier offensive sets with Ricard out. TE Josh Oliver could see a bump in playing time. Meanwhile, Baltimore heads into Week 14 with a depleted secondary, making the Browns pass catchers slightly more palatable for desperate fantasy managers.

  • SEA Tight End #87
Seahawks TE Noah Fant (toe) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
By this point, Fant starting out the week limited due to his toe injury is becoming a trend. Don’t be surprised if you see him limited again next week, barring any setbacks he should still play Week 3. Pharaoh Brown (foot) was also limited, while special teamer Brady Russell (shoulder) missed practice. The Seahawks’ tight end room has been a bit underwhelming this season, with Fant being the best option as a back-end TE2.
  • SEA Defensive Back #21
Seahawks CB Devon Witherspoon (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Witherspoon has played in the Seahawks’ first two games, so a limited designation in a Wednesday practice for Week 3 is not a major concern. Just notable in case the Seahawks’ top corner indeed misses time. Safety K’Von Wallace (shoulder) missed practice, though the secondary was not nearly as depleted as the team’s front seven.
  • SEA Linebacker #53
Seahawks LB Boye Mafe (knee) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Mafe led a lengthy injury report for the Seahawks front seven. He was a new addition with a knee injury and would be a crucial missing part after starting the season with two sacks in two games. LB Uchenna Nwosu (knee) remains out with an MCL sprain while LB Jerome Baker (hamstring) and DE Leonard Williams (knee) also did not participate in practice. The good news is that LB Derick Hall (hip) was limited and LB Tyrel Dodson (shoulder) and DT Jarran Reed (knee) were full participants. It is still early in the week, but Mike Macdonald’s defense hopes to get back key contributors before Week 3 against the Dolphins.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #14
Seahawks WR DK Metcalf (hand) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Metcalf pops up on the injury report to begin Week 3 due to a hand issue. After a big 10/129/1 showing in Week 2, fantasy managers are likely not thrilled to see Metcalf dealing with a hand injury. Reports from practices later in the week will expand on the severity of Metcalf’s injury, but this is something to monitor for someone who is a fantasy WR2 when healthy. Fellow WR Tyler Lockett was limited with a thigh injury, though Lockett has played through it in each of the last two weeks. He and the Jaxon Smith-Njigba will see even more usage should Metcalf remain out for Week 3.
  • MIA Tackle #72
Dolphins T Terron Armstead (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday.
Armstead’s inability to practice on Wednesday is a negative sign for his Week 3 availability and the Dolphins’ offense needs all the help it can get. His presence would help stabilize the offensive line’s left side in what is likely to be a trailing game script.
  • MIA Running Back #23
Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson Jr. (oblique) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
This is a great sign for Wilson’s Week 3 availability though with No. 2 RB Raheem Mostert (chest) also practicing in a limited capacity, Wilson is likely relegated to No. 3 duties. Wilson is just a bench stash at this point.
  • SEA Running Back #9
Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (oblique) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Walker missed Week 2 with the oblique injury after not practicing last week. If he can practice later in the week, it would be better news, but Walker is trending towards missing Week 3 as well. Zach Charbonnet is back in line for lead back touches and should fare better against the Dolphins after averaging less than three yards per carry against the Pats last week. Charbonnet is headed for RB2 value while Walker remains out.
  • LV Defensive End #98
Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
This is a new injury for Crosby though his Wednesday LP is a great sign for his Week 3 availability. Raiders starting LB Divine Deablo (oblique/concussion) did not participate. His status is one to watch.
  • ATL Running Back #25
Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier (hip) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
This is a new injury for Allgeier. It is unclear as to when it occurred so Thursday’s injury report should clarify the situation. Allgeier siphoned 10 touches away from starter Bijan Robinson in Week 2. He remains a high-valued bench stash for the time being.
  • CAR Defensive End #94
Panthers DT A’Shawn Robinson (knee) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Robinson has played in both games this season, but missed the first practice of Week 3 with a knee injury. The 29-year-old signed with the Panthers in the offseason and is one of the defensive line’s better players since Derrick Brown got hurt. DT Shy Tuttle (foot) also missed practice. If both can practice later in the week, it will be good news for their Week 3 statuses and the Panthers’ defensive line.
