Florida State redshirt sophomore RB Jashaun Corbin rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in a 31-28 victory over Miami on Saturday.
It’s an up-and-down year for the Seminoles, as they started the season with four straight losses, then four-straight wins, now heading to game with back-to-back losses. This FSU offense continues to go heavy on the ground game led by quarterback Jordan Travis and Corbin (6'0/215). His touchdown came in the first quarter when he was able to take advantage of the short field following a Miami fumble. On the first play, he cut to the left and beat everyone on the sideline score from 12 yards. This now gives him a touchdown in his three of four games. A great comeback win for Florida State who was down 28-20 late in this game. FSU fans may not be happy with the record, but a win over their biggest rival will always put a smile on their face. Flordia State (4-6, ACC 3-4) will travel to Boston College next Saturday.
