Maryland redshirt sophomore WR Jeshaun Jones (leg) was carted off the field in the first quarter of Saturday’s 66-17 loss to Ohio State.
This could be yet another brutal loss for the Terrapins, as Jones (6'1/185) left on just the second play of the game, after being named the starter in play of wide receiver Dontay Demus Jr., whose season was ended due to a torn ACL last week against Iowa. Not much has gone right for Maryland over these last two weeks, having lost one, possibly two of its top receivers, all while being outscored 117-31 in the process. Mercifully, the Terps get a bye week before returning in Week 8 for a road matchup against Minnesota.
