Vikings fired OL coach/run-game coordinator Rick Dennison.
Dennison, who had served as the Vikings’ offensive line coach/run game coordinator the past two years, is the league’s first position coach to part ways with his team upon refusing the vaccine, which is required for all Tier 1 staff including coaches, front-office executives, equipment managers and scouts. The team will internally promote Phil Rauscher from assistant offensive line coach to Dennison’s former role and move Ben Steele, Auburn’s former special-teams analyst, to fill Rauscher’s position. Although he was the first, Dennison isn’t expected to be the last coach to walk away stemming from the league’s strict protocols for those who are unvaccinated.

49ers signed DL Evan Anderson, DL Alex Barrett, LB Jalen Graham and TE Brayden Willis to their one-year exclusive rights tendered contracts.
Out of the four, Anderson had the greatest impact last season, tallying a forced fumble and a sack in 12 games. He will return to the 49ers - along with Barrett, Graham, and Willis - after signing an exclusive rights tender. The 49ers round out the edges of their roster heading into draft week.
  • Browns LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was seen at the start of the team’s offseason program.
Owusu-Koramoah walked into the Browns’ practice facility months after a Week 8 neck injury ended his 2024 season. He was carted off the field after suffering the injury and was not seen at team headquarters until Tuesday. Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot stated, “it’s a great sign for the Browns and their star linebacker, although his future is still murky.” Neck injuries are difficult to gauge and the 25-year-old had just signed an extension with the Browns before going down. Prior comments from Browns general manager Andrew Berry alluded to it being a long-term issue, though Berry said last week, “he is progressing, but again, right now I don’t have necessarily a definitive date for you.” Owusu-Koramoah is back with the Browns for now, though it may be a while until he actually sees the field.
  • SF Running Back #23
Christian McCaffrey said he is participating in San Francisco’s offeseason program with no restrictions.
Kyle Shanahan said McCaffrey was “healthy and doing great” earlier this month, but it’s still notable that McCaffrey is going through OTAs without any restrictions. “As soon as that injury happened in Buffalo, I was kind of. . . . This was my goal, to not miss a day of OTAs, be back, ready to go, with nothing hindering me, and that’s where I’m at,” McCaffrey told reporters. We know it’s going to take one blurb a day of McCaffrey being healthy before anyone believes the 49ers after last offseason, but we’re off to a strong start before the draft. McCaffrey should be an RB1 — if healthy — in 2025 fantasy drafts.

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reports the Texans have “started sniffing around on a trade up” for an offensive lineman.
After dealing Laremy Tunsil to the Commanders, the Texans have an extra third-round pick this year and an extra second-round pick in 2026 to maneuver their way around the draft board. Nick Caserio is no stranger to trading up — Will Anderson Jr. is only his most famous strike as he’s also paid up for the picks to select players like Nico Collins and John Metchie — so this would not at all be surprising from a need and talent perspective. Particularly if Caserio sees a huge tier drop on his preferred linemen in the teens.
  • PIT Running Back #30
Steelers signed Jaylen Warren to a one-year, $5.3 million contract.
Warren signed his restricted free agent tender today. It’ll be his final year before free agency. Mike Tomlin said earlier today that he “certainly feel[s] comfortable” with Warren entering the season as the No. 1 running back on the depth chart. It remains to be seen if the Steelers add at running back in the draft, and thus Warren’s fantasy status will hang in the balance until Saturday or so. Warren will likely get the first crack either way, but if the Steelers draft someone in the first two days of the draft, it will be a signal that we should treat Warren as more likely to wind up in a committee by October or so.
  • MIA Cornerback #5
Rams HC Sean McVay said “you would certainly never rule out the possibility of that,” when asked about the possibility of trading for CB Jalen Ramsey.
“There’s a lot of layers that would need to be worked out with a player of his magnitude... but you would never eliminate the possibility of adding a total stud,” McVay continued. Both McVay and Rams GM Les Snead seemed open to the idea, but as they’re well aware, adding Ramsey also might mean committing a new contract to him as well as winning a bidding war for his services. The Raiders and Falcons were tied to Ramsey by Jonathan Jones last week, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Ramsey was dealt on draft day.
  • PIT Wide Receiver #14
Steelers GM Omar Khan said he’s “glad we have George and DK here” and shut down speculation that the team could trade Pickens.
“I think they’re going to be exciting for everyone to watch,” Khan added. Pickens may yet execute a hold in entering the final year of his rookie contract, as has been rumored by team beat writers for a few months. But this does throw some cold water on the idea that they’d move Pickens to get back into the second or third round of the draft on Friday.
  • PIT Running Back #30
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he “certainly feel[s] comfortable” with Jaylen Warren’s ability to be the team’s No. 1 back.
“He got hampered by injury some in 2024. He appears to be ready to answer that. I know he’s really excited about his opportunity. I don’t think myself or anyone within the question his talents in regards to managing the ability to manage potentially that role,” Tomlin continued. The Steelers have brought in nine different running backs for top-30 visits and certainly appear likely to replace Najee Harris in the draft. But it does appear like they don’t have a problem turning the role over to Warren to start the season, and the back that Pittsburgh selects will likely be in the third round or later as the Steelers don’t have a second-round pick on account of the DK Metcalf trade.
  • TEN Quarterback #8
Titans GM Mike Borgonzi said that Will Levis “is a quarterback in our room.”
Huge, if true. “He’s still developing. He’s had some good moments,” Borgonzi continued. “Like any other QB, he’s still learning.” Levis was recently in a list of potentially available players on rookie contracts that Adam Schefter pushed on Monday and it wouldn’t be surprising if the Titans dealt him. This is a stark departure from president of football operations Chad Brinker saying Levis had a chance to compete for the starting job in March, obviously.
  • TEN General Manager
Titans GM Mike Borgonzi said the Titans will pick at No.1 overall.
Well, they’re taking Cam Ward barring something completely unexpected over the next 48 hours. It doesn’t seem to be any more complicated than that.
