Stanford junior OT Walter Rouse (undisclosed) not participating in Stanford’s spring game.
It’s unclear why Rouse is missing the spring game, but a spring game is mostly a glorified practice anyway, so it should not be too concerning. Rouse (6'6/312) has been Stanford’s starting LT for the past two seasons. He took over the job as a true freshman in 2019 and struggled, but came into his own more in 2020. Assuming Rouse remains on that trajectory, he may well be one of the better tackles in the conference, which would be a huge boon for a Stanford roster that looks sort of shaky.
