  • TB Center #70
Notre Dame senior OL Robert Hainsey accepted an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Hainsey (6'5/290) has appeared in each of Notre Dame’s ten games this season, filling the starting right tackle role. It’s worth noting that on its list of invitees who have accepted that the senior offensive lineman is listed as a guard/center. So it’s possible that Hainsey will be asked to shift inside at the level. Hainsey projects to be a Day 3 selection in this spring’s draft, and Pro Football Network’s Tony Pauline has given him a sixth-round grade.

  • KC Defensive End #51
Chiefs declared DE Mike Danna, OL CJ Hanson, OT Ethan Driskell, and DT Marlon Tuipulotu inactive for Week 4 against the Chargers.
The Chiefs will be without their EDGE rusher against the Chargers, who sport one of the NFL’s best offensive lines. The Chiefs head into Week 4 as one of the leage’s healthiest teams.
  • NO Linebacker #50
Saints LB Willie Gay was forced from New Orleans’ Week 4 game against the Saints with a hand injury and will not return.
The fact that a linebacker isn’t playing through a hand injury suggests it’s a break. Gay was playing a modest 20-30 weekly snaps heading into Week 4, so it’s more of a depth issue than anything else.
  • SF Safety #29
49ers declared S Talanoa Hufanga, QB Joshua Dobbs, CB Darrell Luter Jr., WR Ronnie Bell and OL Ben Bartch inactive for Week 4 against the Patriots.
Hufanga is now out with an ankle injury, one week after making his 2024 debut following his 2023 ACL reconstruction. The 49ers will fortunately have Williams (illness, toe) protecting Brock Purdy’s blindside though.
  • CLE Linebacker #58
Browns LB Jordan Hicks (ribs/elbow) is active for Week 4 against the Raiders.
Hicks was the only Browns player with a questionable tag heading into Sunday. Inactive for the Browns are QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson, RB Pierre Strong Jr., CB Kahlef Hailassie, OT Jedrick Wills Jr., OT Jack Conklin, WR Jamari Thrash and TE David Njoku.
  • LV Defensive End #98
Raiders declared DE Maxx Crosby, WR Davante Adams, TE Michael Mayer, RT Thayer Munford, LB Divine Deablo, CB Decamerion Richardson, and LB Kana’i Mauga inactive for Week 4 against the Browns.
Head coach Antonio Pierce told reporters Crosby was out on Friday before the Raiders’ injury report dropped. He was then listed as doubtful instead of out. Despite leaving the light on for him over the weekend, Crosby will be on the sidelines today.
  • NO Tight End #7
Taysom Hill suffered an abdominal injury in the Saints’ Week 4 game against the Falcons and will not return.
It was a sadly typical game for Hill, who cashed in a pair of goal-line carries for touchdowns but got injured on the second scoring plunge. The Saints keep putting brittle 34-year-old Hill in harm’s way, and he keeps getting hurt. Just returning from a “chest” issue — this could be the same ailment — Hill is probably staring at a multi-week absence.
  • PIT Running Back #84
Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of the Steelers’ Week 4 matchup against the Colts.
Patterson totaled 62 yards from scrimmage on eight touches before going down and looked like the best back on Pittsburgh’s roster. With running back Jaylen Warren (knee) is already expected to miss a few weeks, leaving Najee Harris and Aaron Shampklin to handle the backfield duties in the second-half of this one.
  • HOU Tackle #78
Laremy Tunsil (ankle) returned to Houston’s Week 4 game against the Jaguars.
Expect some false starts to follow. (We’re all glad you’re okay, Laremy.)
  • WAS Running Back #30
Commanders declared QB Sam Hartman, RB Austin Ekeler, S Darrick Forrest, LB Dominique Hampton, OG Chris Paul, WR Jamison Crowder, and DE Clelin Ferrell inactive for Week 4 against the Cardinals.
The loss of Austin Ekeler (concussion) will make for a busier day for Brian Robinson but also opens the door for Jeremy McNichols to see some work in the passing game. Robinson is the only Commanders running back worth rostering/starting in what should be a high-scoring Week 4 tilt in the desert.
  • GB Wide Receiver #9
Christian Watson was forced from the Packers’ Week 4 game against the Vikings with a left ankle injury.
Watson got victimized on a first half Jordan Love hospital ball that turned into an interception. He got his left leg pinned beneath him as he was bent backwards. It certainly had the looks of a multi-week injury. That unfortunate look was Watson’s only target before departing. Stay tuned.
