Georgia Tech redshirt junior CB Tre Swilling (foot) is available to play Friday night against Louisville.
This is great news for GT as Swilling (6'0/200) is a two-year starter who tied for seventh in the ACC last year with 10 PBU. The honorable-mention All-ACC performer also posted 23 tackles, 11 QB hurries and two TFL en route to a standout season for the Yellow Jackets. His return will be a welcomed sight for a beleaguered Tech secondary that has allowed 270 passing yards per game thus far in 2020. Georgia Tech will attempt to find their first win Friday night against the Louisville Cardinals..

  • LV Defensive Back #21

Raiders signed CB Eric Stokes, formerly of the Packers, to a one-year, $4 million contract.
Stokes is a former first-round selection by the Packers who had mixed success in Green Bay before having his fifth-year player option declined. The 26-year-old should compete for a spot in Pete Carroll’s lineup, but at that low of a price he’s just as likely to be a depth piece for Las Vegas.
  • CLE Linebacker #30
Browns re-signed LB Devin Bush to a one-year, $3.25 million contract.
Bush returns to the Browns after procuring 76 tackles as a part-time starter for Cleveland in 2024. The 26-year-old should be a rotational piece for the Browns, and the chances he ever lives up to the promise he showed in college and his rookie season with PIttsburgh are slim.
  • TEN Safety #25
Titans agreed to terms with S Xavier Woods, formerly of the Panthers, on a two-year, $10 million contract.
Woods is an eight-year veteran, spending the last three seasons of his career with the Panthers. He has started every game he has played in since his second year in the league, tallying 13 career interceptions, 47 passes defended, five forced fumbles, and 621 combined tackles. Woods joins his fourth NFL franchise in the Titans, who add him to reinforce the secondary.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #8
Ravens signed WR DeAndre Hopkins, formerly of the Chiefs, to a one-year contract.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the deal will pay Hopkins $5 million with a chance to grow to $6 million with incentives. The wideout will continues his career and join forces with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry in the Charm City. Hopkins was once among the very best wideouts in football, but he’s slowed down considerably, and averaged just 1.71 yards per route in 2024. He’ll simply be a depth piece for the Ravens, and it’s hard to imagine fantasy intrigue in 2025.
  • FA Cornerback #10
    Ravens released CB Arthur Maulet.
NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe reports the Ravens are planning to release Maulet after an injury-riddled 2024. He had a strong 2024 as the Ravens’ slot corner, re-signing with the team last offseason. However, he hit injured reserve to begin the 2024 season and played just three games. The 31-year-old will look for a new home as a rotational defensive back.
  • BAL General Manager
The Ravens, Cowboys and Dolphins will each receive the maximum four compensatory draft picks.
The Ravens seemingly always lead the league in picks, and while they tied Buffalo and Dallas in 2025, they’re still at the top. Baltimore received a fourth, a fifth and two sixths; while the Cowboys get three fifths and a sixth and Miami getting a third, fourth, and two sevenths. As a reminder, these picks are now eligible to be traded, which gives all three teams — and the others who received multiple selections — extra ammunition for the upcoming draft.
  • LAR Guard #65
Rams agreed to terms with C Coleman Shelton, formerly of the Bears, on a two-year contract.
Shelton returns to the Rams, where he played from 2019-2023. He spent last season with the Bears, making 17 starts and allowing three sacks. The Bears chose to revamp their offensive line, leaving Shelton looking elsewhere in free agency. He reunites with the Rams on a two-year deal and will be in the mix to start after starting 30 games for Los Angeles from 2022-2023.
  • FA Linebacker #50
The Titans will not tender an offer to restricted free agent LB Jack Gibbens, making him a free agent.
Gibbens is now free to sign with another club. The 26-year-old linebacker started 18 games with the Titans over the last two years, but underwent season-ending ankle surgery in November. Assuming good health, there’ll likely be a market for Gibbens on a one-year deal.
  • MIA Safety #21
Dolphins agreed to terms with S Ashtyn Davis, formerly of the Jets.
Davis is a former third-round pick, spending all five of his years in the NFL with the Jets. He has eight career interceptions and 15 passes defended, primarily playing as a reserve defensive back and special teamer. The Dolphins add him for depth in the secondary.
  • BUF Running Back #26
Bills re-signed RB Ty Johnson to a two-year, $5 million contract.
Johnson will return to the Bills, and likely serve as the top backup tailback for Buffalo behind stalwart James Cook while seeing playing time on third down. Johnson would offer some decent upside if he were to replace Cook, but isn’t likely to see enough touches to help fantasy players in 2025.
