It’s a stinger for the Bulldogs, especially considering that Williams was in Athens just this past weekend. As for what Miami’s getting on the field, 247Sports’ Barton Simmons loosely compares Williams’ game and upside to that of Isaiah Simmons. Hey now. On the outlet’s composite board, Williams lands as the No. 9 overall prospect in the 2021 class. We’ll see if Miami can carry this one home to the winter now that he’s once more committed.

The value of every drafted rookie’s contract is determined by where they were selected in the draft, so it’s hard to imagine how a team could drag their feet this aggressively. The Bengals, however, have found a way. They are reportedly haggling over certain clauses in Stewart’s deal. The good news for Stewart is that he isn’t subject to fines for missing minicamp because he’s not under contract yet. Stewart was previously in attendance but not practicing. He’s now out of the building entirely. We fully expect the two sides to get this taken care of before training camp, but it’s another example of the Bengals’ front office needlessly pinching pennies from their players.

Reaves is primarily a special teamer for the Commanders, making the 2022 Pro Bowl and being named first-team All-Pro for his skillset. He suffered a partially torn ACL in 2023 and signed a two-year deal to stay in Washington last offseason. The Commanders now reward his productive special teams performance with a one-year extension that keeps Reaves signed through 2026.

The 28-year-old has primarily been a depth option in the backfield and special teamer. It is notable the Texans brought in another running back, having signed Nick Chubb with Joe Mixon recovering from an ankle injury. Hasty would need to battle his way through to make any roster, but the Texans working him out indicates Mixon may be further from returning than initially thought.

Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Pratt’s deal includes another $500K in incentives. Pratt was expected to be a cap casualty for the Bengals and requested a trade. Nothing materialized and Cincy cut him earlier this week. Pratt started all 17 games for the Bengals last year. He played nearly every snap on defense and led the team with 143 combined tackles. The versatile defender has been observing the inside linebackers in Philly’s offseason program, giving us some idea of where he will play to start his career. After trading up one spot to land Campbell in the first round, it’s safe to assume the Eagles will ramp up his workload as soon as he is healthy.

Macdonald said Walker “should be fine.” The fact that they are letting Walker practice in any capacity suggests the ankle injury isn’t a big deal. The Seahawks have already made their desire to establish the run abundantly clear this offseason and Walker is set to be the biggest beneficiary of that shift. Assuming he’s a full go at the start of training camp, Walker looks like a safe bet as a mid-range RB2 in early fantasy drafts.

Diggs suffered a knee injury in Week 15 last year and underwent season-ending surgery, exiting a lost season for Dallas a few weeks early. He underwent a second surgery in the offseason and spent some time away from the team while rehabbing in Miami. He’s now back at minicamp but is still a long way from being game-ready. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said last week that all signs were positive with his recovery but there was “no timeline for the return.” It sounds like Diggs is a true coin flip to be available for Week 1.

Bosa told reporters he has been held out of practice as a precaution. He initially went down with the calf issue early in the offseason program and has been out ever since. Bosa has a lengthy injury history, and nothing has changed since he joined the Bills, but the latest issue is seemingly minor. As long as he is back for camp, Bills fans should expect a bounceback of sorts for the veteran EDGE.
