Bears selected Georgia Southern CB Kindle Vildor with the No. 163 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Vildor (5'10/191) projects exclusively as an outside corner after tallying 24 slot snaps as a three-year starter at Georgia Southern. An explosive athlete who excelled in both the vertical (39 1/2") and broad jumps (133") at Indy’s combine, Vildor used his respectable arm length (32 1/4") to play larger than his measurements suggest with the Eagles. Having said that, Pro Football Focus’ Mike Renner tracked the 22-year-old with a combined seven missed tackles in 2017-18 compared to 11, a marginal step back, in his final year. That regression coupled with his underwhelming size are causes for concern at the next level, projecting Vildor as a cross-your-fingers reserve.
